no, i didn't get the k800. the one i have, although it's still in the box, is called Logitech Illuminated Keyboard. that's the only branding i see on the box. http://www.staples.com/Logitech-Illuminated-Keyboard/product_774128

ok, phoon, starkers, monk, et al, i've been using this T650 touchpad for all of 10 minutes and i can tell you honestly that it kicks major ass. i can use either the T650 or my MX Revolution mouse depending on my mood. the build quality on the T650 is rock solid. the user surface feels like glass and it's very responsive. using 1, 2, 3, or 4 fingers to swipe, click, pinch, or whatever the needed gesture is works like a charm. i very highly recommend this touchpad. as you can tell by th
actually, it's 80 bucks and i just noticed Staples carries it. i'm going to get one tomorrow and will get back on here and let y'all know how it goes.
i also received one of those charging pads. unless i'm transferring tunes or other files, i never use the usb cable that came with the phone. the charging pad is sweet.
i'm going to Indy this weekend so I can have a listen to the BOSE Solo Tv sound bar/speaker. while i'm in town, i'm going to head over to Frys and grab one of those Logitech T650 touchpads. i think that's the model number anyway :) . from the reviews i've read, that can be used instead of a mouse and it allows use of the win8 swipe motions. i guess it'll be like having a touchscreen monitor without actually having one.
well, at&t has the nokia monster purity hd over-ear headphones for $100 instead of $200 so i grabbed a set this morning. even tho they're made by the same people who make the dr dre beats (monster), they sound nothing like the beats. the beats are way too bass heavy for my liking. these purity hd's sound great. the mid-range and voice are as clear as a beautiful spring day. the build quality of the purity phones are quite nice as well. i'm pretty well satisfied. i think i'
congrats to all! welcome, storm!
wow, tom! that skin looks nice.
congrats to the dad and mom! welcome, kiddo!
i don't particularly care for lobotomies.
kona, it's very difficult to forget a guy bitching about something he knew nothing about and getting laughed at by everyone else in the room. hippy and chris lam-blasted you over your comments about xp that night. you were ALWAYS bitching about how slow your rig was with xp and you were going to run a linux distro instead. anyway, you're commenting about an os and a phone you know absolutely zero, nothing, nada, and zilch about. it's like me talking about linux, which i kn
no, kona. when xp was released you said it wouldn't run on machines built for 95 or 98 without slowing everything down to a point the machine almost stopped. you said there wouldn't be enough people upgrading their machines in order to use xp that it would be a bust by microsoft. you argued that for weeks, if not months, in the #stardock channel of irc. numerous times, you said you wouldn't use it because you couldn't afford to buy more ram for your rig.
moshi and all others who hate win8 even tho they don't use it (kona, you have no say in ANYTHING since you've never used ANYTHING), when i say i find myself in 'metro' more often, i mean i use the start screen more than the start menu given to me by start8. i've downloaded VERY FEW apps from the app store. 99% of my apps were installed the old fashioned way. btw, wiz, my win8 os cost more then $40. i renewed my technet sub to get 8 and office 2013, among other apps and os&
kona also said win xp would be a bust years ago. just sayin' ......
1reno, i have it on my desktop and i don't hate it. i admit i had to install start8 right off the bat because i didn't think i could use the 'metro' interface but i find myself more in metro now than the standard desktop. i am enjoying win8 so much i bought a windows phone and sold my iphone. i'm also debating which win8 tablet to buy. so, you're declaration that a person will hate win8 on a desktop isn't valid. sorry, dude . i played around with the asus in the at&t store quite a bit today. i'm leaning toward that one over the surface. the keyboard is definitely more robust. if i decide to get the asus, it won't be at at&t. they want $800 for it. i think frys has it for $500, maybe $550. maybe the extra cost is because it has a sim card in it. they said i could add it to my data plan for $10 a month. i didn't see a sim slot, though. the samsung tablet they have definitel
one of them was replaced today. it seems the camera on my daughter's phone decided to take nothing but pitch black pictures. since she is the mother of the most beautiful, almost three month little girl, you can see how the lack of a correctly operating camera wouldn't be a good thing. for some reason, the local store had a red one but no white ones in stock so she now owns a pretty fire engine red phone. that was her first choice all along so she's a very happy camper now.
well, my brother and i went to indy today. he bought himself a new corsair case. i don't know why. i told him he can have my corsair case. anyway, i looked at the asus tablet and the surface. i'm torn between the two so i didn't get either......yet. i need to do some research on the asus. i always use asus or gigabyte boards in rigs i buy or sell so i know the quality of their products. the appearance of the surface is pretty cool, i admit. i'll decide which one to get within
since Dec. 26th, my ex, my daughter and son-in-law, and my younger brother have all purchased 920s. the ex actually got a red one. it seems the rochester store had one left and she drove up there to get it. my daughter picked a white one while the son-in-law went with a black one. i think my brother got a black one too, but i'm not sure. all changed from iphones except one, who switched from a galaxy II s.
i just installed it today
sorry for the double post. my bad
i have 2.11 installed. i get the standard windows cursor using the ctrl + shift + c method but never see the cfx cursor i have loaded while in metro.
i wish i was as lucky as tom. i don't get a cursor on the metro start screen when cfx is installed.
paul, you're losing it
my brother and i are going to the ms store and frys in indy saturday. i might purchase and surface tablet at teh ms store. if not, maybe another win 8 tablet at frys. well, actually, we will stop at frys first to see what they have in tablets and greg wants a new case then we'll go to the ms store. if i don't care for the surface (unlikely to happen) we will return to frys.
