there sure is a learning curve coming from an iphone to this rascal but i'm enjoying it quite a bit. taking the first one back after only 2 or 3 days wasn't one of my more brainy moves. the 920 cost me $135 (including the $35 restocking fee for returning the first one) and i sold my iphone 4S for $400. i came out ahead in the deal no matter how you look at it. i have a superb phone AND more cash in my pocket. i may throw another $100 or so on top of the $400 and get a Surface.

ok, i finally got one tuesday and although i like the phone, it's going back as soon as the cordless charger is delivered which should be tomorrow. i like the display and screen. the gorilla glass is great. i enjoy the os quite a bit. much more than i expected to, to be honest. but, and this a huge but, the calendar is not up to the level i want it to be. in the monthly view, it is far too small for me to use. also, the calendar is not importing the birthdays of people in my contacts list

yeah, monk, i had already seen a white one and the black is pretty sweet. i almost went with black but i really want to see the red before making a choice. the cyan doesn't interest me in the least. we'll see tuesday or wednesday.

well, the local at&t store only had the black version in stock when i was there. they should have other colors available next tuesday so i'll make another visit then. i want to see more than one color before making a decision on which one to get. i know how nice the white and black versions look but i've yet to see a red one.

i had a white 920 in my hands the other day and came this close | | to getting one. i currently have an iphone 4s and that 920 is very appealing. i'll probably get one for an early Christmas gift to myself in the next few days. if i do, i can sell my 32 gb iphone and come out ahead money-wise on the deal. the only reason that MAY stop me from getting the 920 is the fact i have 3 Bose headphones designed for the iphone.

my fresh install of Windows 8 didn't create any extra partitions. i expected it to but it didn't. maybe it's because i'm running a raid array but i'm not sure about that at all. i know when i installed the consumer preview a few months ago on a single drive, it created a second partition. everything is running great so i'm inot going to complain any.
