I strongly suspect that's already happened. I'll leave it to your imagination who might want to employ technology in that way. [/tfh]
It's flakier than Grandma's biscuits.
True. And unfortunate. I kinda wish SD would pull it, for all the headaches it gives users. JMO.
Does operating as a restricted user avoid these issues if AV is running on the rig? Seems like it wouldn't.
Just getting ready to update to the beta, but it occurred to me to ask: Should the prior version of IP be uninstalled first? Thanks!
Thanks for the info, Ace. My Avast was still on an April version when I just checked, so updating now. Thought it prompted with new versions, but apparently not.
Well...BD and Avast use those libraries...did another post on that.
Curses, foiled again! Looked through your posts & didn't spot such. Link? Thanks, Daiwa
The names Bitdefender & Avast did not appear. Tanks be. [e digicons]v_v[/e]
Really... It's not a Calculated Evil Corporate Exploitation of the Masses thing. They can't rip you off unless you choose to purchase. There are trade-offs involved in everything , folks.
And Tim is using my fave daily driver WB to boot. His absolute best, IMHO. Some themed icons for it would just be the bomb.

Having used several online floral delivery services, I seem to remember all of them have a fine-print disclaimer that what's delivered might vary from the design shown based on local availability, blah, blah. If it's a scam, they are all scammers.
I understand your lament, but they can only do what the OS will permit them to work around. The 'other half' of the apps work fine on Win7 & some on Win8, so I'm glad to have the suite for the apps that work on my OS, even though I have no use for the apps which work only in Win10. I have no doubt SD are working to get as many of the apps compatible with Win10 as possible. Ultimately, it's a value decision on your part. Hopefully, you'll underst
Dunno. Fubar seems a bit dramatic a description, not to minimize any issues you had with it personally. Used it for as long as I've been on Win7, on multiple rigs, without any problems. But then, I never felt the need to uninstall it, so there's that.
IP is perfectly fine for any OS other than Win10. No reason to remove it.

This is technical enough that submitting a support ticket might be a good idea and is likely to get things functioning as you wish. Remember to submit just once & wait for a reply before sending another email as each time you do (before a reply is received) it moves your initial request to the bottom of the queue.
It's also ungentlemanly to say what needs to be said about a 'lady'. [e digicons]:-"[/e]

The history of such predictions being what it is, we should always take them with at least a small grain of salt.
