I remember all these folks from the old days when I was just a skinz.org lurker. John Folden occasionally pops up every now and then. Here and on the winstep groups list. John did some great stuff with windowblinds and winstep. DAK has shown up on #stardock a couple times the past year. WBMania skins are classic. Shawn Murdock has been MIA for some time. He was seen on his website about a year ag with the intent of updating some of his skins to the then new WB3. His Si
It looks like that wallpaper is made from this graphic: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation.php?id=278753 You could use that as the start of a wall, or just have windows center it on your desktop. Tthere are several geek wallpapers kicking around. Maybe one of these may strike your fancy: Here's one variation of it: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/769819 Here's another: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/135779 And another: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/1

No, this is not nazi germany. For my part, I've found the ever increasing random, off-topic conversation drifts irriating, making me less interested in following the threads on this board beyond the first post or two of any given topic. And having admins shepard and handle off-topic posts and thread-drifs is a common practice on many boards to prevent entropy. So far this place has been pretty lax in this area when compared to another board I particpate in. I really wish this b

I seem the only one to be having problems. I'm getting thin black horizontal lines throughout the left side of the start menu (and it's not the menu separators). It looks like some sort of tiling issue. Anyone else seeing this problem?
For the icons you need IconPackager https://www.stardock.com/products/iconpackager Once you have it installed, download the copperdeck icon packager theme and (assuming its a .iptheme file, just doubleclick it. If it's a .zip file, rename it to a .iptheme file. To change to other icon packs, start icon packager, select one of the installed icon packages and press load and apply. For Sysmetrix, you need to have Sysmetrix installed http://www.xymantix.com/sysmetr
Martin, no I seeing something else beyond the menu separators in the Start Menu screenshot above. It looks like some sort of tiling issue with the start menu. Very nasty looking. Thin black horizontal lines evenly spaced, some going through the text, some under the text some above the text and so on
I'm seeing horitzontal lines throughout the left side of the start panel, going right through the test of the menu items
Actually, I'm interested. I recently bought an inket printer, which is great, but would like to get an affordable, good laser printer as well
DesktopX themes are compeletly different from WindowBlinds skins and require a different program (DesktopX). Download WindowBlinds skins from the WindowBlinds section of the library.
WindowBlinds for skinning the windows (therea are several WindowsXP-looking skins) ObjectBar to mimic the XP taskbar and menu IconPackager to load icon sets (though icons made specifically for XP will look properly on Windows 2K)
Hit PrtScn, then launch MS Paint. Then from MS Paint's Edit menu, select Paste. That'll paste the screenshot into MS Paint
Keyboard Launchpad, though new, is a great and extremely useful addition. And WindowBlinds with rollup and always on top buttons are extremely useful, especially when you need to flip between several windows repeatedly
So are we approaching the release date asymptotically?
I think it was Piers Anthony who at one point after completiing his latest Xanth novel at that time jokingly said he'd just finished the 8th book or so in the Xanth Trilogy

Yes, but that site has two sections, one for screen shots of your desktop, and one for wallpapers. And that tank was uploaded to, and found in, the wallpaper section
