yeah shouting. I think we covered that in another thread almost a month ago at any rate I believe that those features are plugins that you add to the skin. it does not come with stardock products. download a skin like SETI. It has winamp player buttons in it and also a discription on how to find the plugin (I think) in the read me file where WindowBlinds stores all the skin files under SETI

hey coreg2... I know what it is like to be a student and have like noooooooooo money. but from your statment it would seem that you think the subscription is paid every month. it is not every month. it is 20 dollars for 2 years. That's right!!! 20 dollars. 1 payment.. no hasles.... 20 dollars.... and that is it.... for the next 2 years. Not 20 dollars a month or 6 months or even a year. That might be still to much for some students... but if you think you really like this stuff

hey it works!!! It just takes some time to load up... I used skins.asp?library=2&AuthorID=2663 to get all of the icons for andi18. he has allot so I had to refresh to get all the images. I figured for those skiners that have so many skins that I could cut down the total skin collection and get specific skins. I guess andi18 is a bad example of getting the page up faster (but it works for other authors depending on the skin count) thanks for the help!!! <br

I wanted to ad andi18 (as well as others) to my favorites in explorer but there is a small problem. With skinners (like andi18) that have multipul skins (over 20) all the screen shots of the skins do not load up. Is there a way to query the asp server for a specific program skinned by a specific desiner? iiiiilllllll original windows 98???? oh my gawd!!! that was like the most boring interface ever!! The thing is if your use to it or do not know if there are any choices then you say "fine". I hope more people find out about changing they interfaces. BTW I am trying to come up with a presentation on windowblinds using flash and shockwave so they get the point on my website. oh boy...... see.... once again somebody posts subject matter like this but the guy never uploads anything to the site or does news or engages in the message board (except to put up a comment like this) this guy just downloads.... I have to admit I did not know about bandwidth and most people probably don't either. So all they see is "I can't download for free?? What the f@#$!" oooooooooohhhhhhhhh....... thanks for the insite... apache and php sounds really good. now I seem to understand access better as far as me using it as a back end for my web site. I will come up with a better statagy depending on what I use. It will be a few months before anything gets really started. I wil be sure to ask more questions later.

soooo basically if I use asp like this site for example only 8 people can assess a certian part of my site at a time? so I and 7 other people click on the default page from some other site and if a ninth person is also doing it then CRASH!!! so why are they so interested in teaching it (especilly asp .NET) at school? php rocks? asp sucks??? jsp is old school? Cold Fusion (or cfm) is on bad.... shut your mouth??? So which one should be the one I start out with? My second site has allot of images and but not that interactive (like posts) but it does have a sign in area for extra features. My first site will have different themes (like wincust) ad sign in but still no message board. and no uploads except wallpapers.

IIS? Is that how others make there web pages run? I was not sure if I should use .asp, php, cfm, or jsp. Technically I see the difference but in the end don't they all coms out the same way? Is Access a MySQL? Access can punch out pages on request (but updating it means resaving the html file). This site is using asp. Why not php like DeviantArt? Or cfm?
