I would seem that Pay Pal, the chioce for internet buying and selling has been bought out. I have to admit I thought Pay Pal was a cut and run operation that should not be trusted. It would seem many credit card companies thought so too. But with there teaming up with Brinks (if I am not mist

that was a offical rant. don't get me started about ad campans. Especilly on the net!!! people have brains, consumers have minds; Stop telling them what they want and start helping them to find what they need. (and want...not in any specific order or combination)

I guess I understand where Apple is coming from. They want people to flock to there OS instead of using M$. Having those GUI's that look like the OSX look is rattling them. They want to control every aspect of there sale so they know what factors are going into how they are doing. They do not want errounous effects to push them down. They are the underdogs.... So being able to "use" a like styled GUI on M$ makes them nervous. A progam on Linux designed a few weeks ago I believe allows L

I am with mormefil with paying... for some stuff. Definatly for DesktopX. WindowBlinds too; object bar, and I guess Icon packager (I would be sure if it really helped a user to MAKE icons and animated cursors) I am also with Carlitus on the DX stuffs. I want more scripting powers. I want to be able to use HTML code too. and javascript. This program can really go far if it is designable to intergrate inot a database or go online and use XML for data of a website. I need more scr

so IE supports PNG files now?? I thought they never do it. And about the transparantcy, I thought a gif image file could do it too? If you save the original file as a indexed file and then export it as a gif you can take out as many colors as you want. And Paxx, it looks nice. I had a problem loading it up (computer seemed to stall) but then again I was using the JUNO browser. Does this transparantcy work on Opera browser as well?

this looks good. but like DavidK said, I will probably only get like 10 visiters a day. I guess that is good because the more visitors I get the more bandwidth I have to pay for. I am definatly glad I can place it anywhere and shape it in anyway. Now I can work my advertising techniques out and see what people respond to.

yup in the trial version, you have to re-apply the skin. I had the trail version a few months back and I didn't like it. but then I turned it off and I was like "eeuuu yuk!" I just couldn't go back to the old windows look. so I bought it. I do not know about anybody else but it was a very good choice for me.

do you mean restart? shutdown? or an actual reboot of the system? and do you have the shareware version or the full version? If you have the full version then usually the default it to come on but if not, just right click on the screen and go to the skins section of the pop up window. there should be a button that says "Prevent WindowBlinds from loading at startup". Make sure that the button is NOT checked (as in not selected). Then everything shoul be ok. <i

I was wondering if you could make a transparacy that allows a user to see the background (the desktop). I was trying a gif with transparancy and set it as the backround but I haven't tried it yet. and what about frameless web pages? can you use a transparancy on that so it looks like a shape instead of a square?

I think I can cut and paste this here: Rant: I think why soon so many sites will be subscribtion only is because for some reason ad campains for the internet are so lame. We have all seen that ads from something that looks like a warning on your computer to stuff that flashes so much you get a headache. ARE THERE ANY ADVARTIZING COMPANIES WHO KNOW HOW TO DESING ADS??!!!? I am tired of being treated as if I do not have a brain in my head by ads that do nothing more than just sit

I saw an ad for either target or best buy that was a flash movie and it loaded in the backround. I heard this noise and I was like "what the... " and saw this TV like ad. It was so funny. I played it 3 times. I think internet ads should be the way to adverise. it is so easy to click and see. but if they are going to be lame and stupid and un-entertaining then we will ignore it just like junk mail. I think I have an idea.... a plan.

I would think that advertising is important for a site and the advertiser then they would design the ads to look and work better. Flashier ands are not the answer. Google came up with Ad Words. Sometimes all you need is words. Sometimes images. Ads should be entertianing.

I saw WMP for XP and it looked like it was skinned in one of windows designs. I am not sure about windowblinds covering it in XP though. And yes MS has extencive details as to how the skinning of Windows Media Prayer works. XML, Microsoft's Jscript and some HTML techniques. I am going to try to make some reallt simple skins before I go buck wild and do something like The Skin Factory. (that's allot of work).
