Ah ok. Well, you could always try the single file download on the download-page. But it sure would be nice to get SDC to do the job... What if you delete the C:\Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral\temp\gc1.xml, do a Tools->Refresh application data and try again? Might also considering clearing all files in that temp-dir but it means redownloading all you havent installed... ~SDC~

At the end of a game you get to choose if you want to submit it or not. If you choose yes it sends the gamedata over the net to the server. Need to be hooked up the the internet obviously :) ~SDC~

I think it should work. But you should be able to right-click on the component in SDC and choose archive too. ~SDC~

No you'll have to explore manually. You can set a surveyship to explore ohne sector, but it isnt that efficient. The res is fixed at 1024*768, and cant be changed. ~SDC~

Please make sure you are entering the serial under the correct application. drenging.net if you have bought that, galciv if you have bought that. it's a pull-down menu on the drengin.net-page to select. ~SDC~

yes, it's possible if one is using a resolution bigger than 1024*768. need to set it to 16-bit colors tho. It's a separate, unsupported, exe-file to start the game with, it can be found on the galciv-directory after installing the window-build through SDC. ~SDC~

Hehe no worries. Hmm might be a good idea for SD to put a rename-dialog also when one have the box with ship-orders and such up too. Or if it's there already - I dont remember, to tired right now :) ~SDC~

naah, you shouldnt need to. but you might consider to ALT-TAB just before the metaverse submission, and deactivate it - ALT-TAB back and submit and then reactivate it. Just to make sure that it isnt an issue. ~SDC~
