Sure you should be able to install it at work with the SDC, choose archive and bring the archive to the home-computer. Very soon it will be possible to download it all in one file without needing to install anything at all. I dont no anything about the distribution tho.. ~SDC~

Sad to hear that it crashes. In the galciv-directory there should be a debug.err, that one may give a hint on what's happening. Also, Id recommend to install SmartException under the Free Stuff -tab. After installing that and rebooting, you should get a report if/when galciv crashes. That report as well as the debug.err helps the developers alot to find the error. Otherwise it may be very hird to find the bug you've found. ~SDC~

Ok, I'd recommend doing a regular install. You could always archive the installed game if you want. (just right-click on the game) Also...the dl&archive seems to have problems with resuming downloads. ~SDC~

The resolution is fixed at 1024*768. If it scales ugly on LCD/TFT I can only recommend turning off scaling on the monitor. Or use the unsupported windowed version of GalCiv, which plays in a 1024*768 window.
