actually there is an improvement, lasts about 4 turns then morale drops to 40 again. so it may be a display problem. all of the imps seem a bit strange this way.
jlegere
as you can see from this entry in the improvement tables, the Harmony Generator, as the name implies should increase the morale of the planet. however, when you choose the item in the build screen, it displays as producing an increase of 100% in manufacturing. after building the device, I see no change in planet moral. IMPROVEMENT HarmonyGenerator //------------------------------------------------------------------------ Name "Harmony Generator" M
never played befor myself. pretty straight forward if you ask me
kudos to the stardock folks. you really have been busy with the stuff we reported.
that would work great. but till then atleast we know now.
regarding 005 scout ships. they will only enter systems you own. neutral and enemy ones are off limits.
1 per day is cool. Alex ( cuteftp ) was something of an interesting programmer. he would work one day per quarter. the guy could write code as easy as we write a letter home. Wish I could do that.
auto turn, auto build. not saving, or as far as I can tell working. turn one of them off and return to the game. then go back in to the options and it's still on. least It say's that they are on. I cannot get autobuild to work so who knows.
sorry I used to live with and act as tester boy for the author of CuteFTP. I am used to his style of updates I guess. and fredrik. most bugs are small errors in syntax, wrong names for variables, or just qualify as a "Doh!, why the hell didn't I see that before"
there's not a one thats read only. the archive bit is set on everything but thats it.
doh! ok :) but you gotta admit it was a valid concern.
wouldn't they have been colonized already? wouldn't our technology be behind theirs? guess it's a story thing.
see the message thread "Preferences are not saving"
the options regarding auto turn and autobuild are not functioning
frederik understands what I was aiming at. the poor planets are holding back the rich planets. all the planets have to wait if just one planet isn't finished with it's production before you can change the allocation of resources. not good.
100+fps in setup screen
averaging 24fps in game play at the start ( untill it funks out on me then it drops to .2fps 512mb 1.3ghz winme gforce2 gts 64meg sblive
I feel like I am spamming the forum tonight
the enemy knows the instant you finish building a transport. they will attack that planet the turn it gets completed.
it's does affect everything right now.
happens every time, if your planet is near edge of map, scout is stuck in home system
went through and changed prefs. compared before and after. they are not being saved ( if they are even in effect)
the way we adjust our resources now ( mil, civ, res ) causes a serious resource allocation problem. for example. say you have one planet that needs to build "soil enrichment" but this planet is a poor one with little population. the entire empire must wait for it to finish, not being able to build ships, or do research while you wait for this backwards little outpost of a planet. we need to have individual controls with a button that we press if we WANT to apply this change to the entire empire.
