The correct spelling is "Aleksyandr". That may save some frustration.

I never made a skin called Toxic. I believe that was by Michael Brandt.
WindowBlinds compresses skin files now. The color of compressed files in Windows is blue. Unfortunately, there is no way to change that color with WindowBlinds. However, you can disable the coloring of compressed files. In Windows Explorer, chose Folder Options from the Tools menu. Select the View tab, and uncheck "Show encrypted or compressed NTFS files in color." [Message Edited]
Custom coloring will change the colored parts of the skin, but will leave the greyscale shades alone. Maybe all the other skins you looked at were mostly shades of grey?
du..bu..uh...I don't think I can speak right now. That is VERY cool!
#5 by webgizmos - 9/13/2004 3:24:46 AM Nice nic...am I the only one that noticed? We've been over that before. It's a clothing company (French Connection UK).
Prices or prizes? And what does "if you are nr1" mean?
croissant, you can download the shareware version of WindowBlinds here: http://www.windowblinds.net It's simple to install and just as easy to use as msstyles. [Message Edited]
Have you tried using SkinStudio to check the skin for errors? Tools -> Correct skin errors
Indeed, if you heard it from the man himself, I don't know who else would know better.
What effect? Light blue gradually fading to darker blue? That's what a gradient is. If you're telling me you rendered that in a 3D app, I think you wasted your money.
Styl, this looks no less "photoshop" than anything else. You used gradients? Genius... Also, is the light source at the top or the bottom? I don't think your Start menu knows.
Personally, I'm more interested in originality than what app was used to make the skin. Some people just seem caught up in trying to reproduce what others have done.
Attila, the awards/medals are in the form of icons that you can flaunt on your user page.
WindowBlinds runs in the background as long as you're using a skin, but keep in mind that it also unloads the WindowsXP skinning engine, so you are not running both at the same time. As for signing up for the message board, you're not required to buy anything. The only time you might need to make any purchase is after you've exceeded the free 50MB download limit. Even then, you can still post on the board, you just can't download anything else. As for spyware, like Koasati sai
I heard that Jimmy asked Alice to the prom, but Alice was already going with Dave, even though Dave has a crush on Jenny, and now Jenny's going with Jimmy. Scandalous! Oh, how I don't miss High School.
You know, most of us started skinning because we had something specific in mind we wanted as a skin, and the best person to do exactly the skin you want is nobody else but yourself. Definately. It looks like you have a decent start there too. I think you should polish that up a bit, make a matching window, and dig in to SkinStudio. <img src="
Incorrect. People see an icon showing new comments on their own work when they look at their My Skins page. If you got an error, I suggest you try commenting again. I've never seen PREDATOR50001 post on the message board, so there's a good chance he won't see this here.
First, open up Theme Manager. Then, go to File -> New Suite. Click the "Use Current Desktop" button, give it a name, and save it. That's it. You can't upload that because it would be redistributing other people's work, but it is an easy way for you save themes for your own use. There's a slightly longer process to go through if you want to link to other people's skins online and upload the suite here.
It's pretty hard to tell what it is just from that taskbar. It looks like every other mac style skin to me. You can find dozens of them here.
It wasn't me either. I never saw it. I'm sure the answer will surface as the sun makes its way around our planet.
After Citizen, there's Apprentice, Master Apprentice, and Journeyman. A very select few make it to Master after that. Master promotions are voted on by the Wizops and Admins and it's very rarely done. After that there are two levels of moderators. Wizops are nomintated and voted on by the existing Wizops and Admins, but only in the event that we need more moderators. Admins have a few more buttons and levers than Wizops and can only be granted their supreme power by S
#25 by Skinner romanda - 9/2/2004 6:18:08 PM So the moral of this story is, Ask and ye might be granted? The moral of the story is submit decent original works to the site and ye might get promoted. The asking only brought it to my attention. The work you've contributed earned you the promotion.
Upon careful review ... yada yada yada ... it looks to me like you've contributed plenty to deserve a promotion from Citizen. So, I dub thee Apprentice romanda. Just leave the keys under the seat when you're done detailing my car.
Hi Ellmonnt. Welcome to the real world.
