This is an issue with WindowsXP. When XP switches from the Luna skin to the Classic skin, which WindowBlinds uses, it restores the taskbar to one line. You can test this yourself without WindowBlinds running. Just load up the Luna skin (the blue one that comes with XP), and set your taskbar to two lines. Now load the Classic style and you'll see XP resize it. When XP boots up, it is running the Blue luna skin. When WindowBlinds kicks in, it switches to the Classic look, which causes XP to resize

Thanks for the report, Styl skinner. I gave someone permission to port them to linux, but I can't find the email and I don't remember their name. I'm going to give this guy the benefit of the doubt and assume it was him I gave permission to. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmidd

Sorry, I missed part of your question. The numbers on the top authors list are not related to ratings at all. They are the number of downloads of each author's work from the previous day. The number of downloads is divided by 10 to save space. So adni18 (604) means that adni18's combined works were downloaded 6040 times yesterday. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT=

If you are a Citizen or Apprentice, anything you upload is moderated before it appears on the site. A moderator must give it a rating when they approve it. If you are a Journeymen or higher, your uploads are automatically accepted and given a default rating of 6. Once your upload appears on the site, other users can rate it. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="abs

I couldn't agree more. I think I've downloaded every wall he has on DA, and those DesktopX themes remain favorites of mine to this day. Konstrictor in particular is an amazing blend of wallpaper and DX theme. https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?Library=3&skinid=1573

raven22, as others said, please disengage your caps lock when posting here. The server is busy because there are over a thousand people hitting it at any given second. When the site is busy like this, paying customers get bandwidth priority, and non-paying visitors get whatever bandwidth is left over. As kthxbye pointed out, you mentioned spending more money, which implies that you have spent some already. If you bought a Stardock product or a subscription to this site, then yo

I deleted your thread because it contained a link to pirated software. Posting warez is strictly prohibited and if you do it again you will be exiled from WinCustomize.

I'm not saying this is a bad idea. If people want to get help from peers, that's a fine way to do it. I'm just saying that you can't count on 'official' support through this method. That's all. I do think that a single thread devoted to WB bug reports would become huge pretty quickly and new users would never bother to read all that to find an answer. They'd just post a new thread. I appreciate the idea. Ideally though, I think it would need to be a separate section of the mess

Basically, this message board is for discussions about skins, customization software, and this site. However, as has been stated before, this is not an official support channel for Stardock products. The newsgroups and the support email address [email protected] are for that. The Stardock IRC channel can also be useful. Of course, people are welcome to discuss potential bugs here, but there is no guarentee that someone from Stardock will see or respond to them. <A HREF="https://www.wi

First, turn off your Caps Lock. Nobody likes to be shouted at. Now, click on the My Skins link at the top of any page. If your wallpaper is no longer there, it has not been accepted. You will receive an email if it is.

If you submitted a wallpaper and it is now gone, then it was not accepted. We reject more than we accept, so you will only receive an email notification if it is accepted. If it was some other type of skin, you would normally receive a rejection notice with a reason.

Sorry folks, I have to agree with Koasati. This message board isn't for self promotion. If everybody posted a thread every time they uploaded a skin, that's all that would be here. Skins have their own comments area specifically for feedback. Koasati made his tounge in cheek post with a wink (see the emoticon), but I'm not. Also, telling a moderator which threads he can post in probably isn't a great idea. <img src="htt

If you go to https://www.wincustomize.com/resources.asp?cmd=4 you will see a link to download the WC Browser and your serial number. Just install that on your laptop, put in your email address and password, and you'll be all set.

You will need to download the Wincustomize Browser to your laptop and install it there. It won't transfer your downloads, but if your computers are networked, you could copy them manually.
