Master is not an administrator level. The term you are looking for is actually Moderator. Wizops and Admins are moderators. Combined, there are 12 of us in total. Master is the highest user level and a majority vote amongst moderators (and masters?) is required to promote someone to Master. My guess is that it doesn't contain WB4 elements because WB4 is not a final product yet. Since it's still in alpha, some of the specifications could change. I'm sure that The Skins Factory and Microsft would not want to distribute a skin that could self destruct in upcoming WB4 builds. Many people who download this from MS will be first time users of WindowBlinds. They aren't going to have access to WB4 since it's only on ODNT right now. Tim, are you trying to see folder backgrounds, like Large My Pictures, Large My Music, etc.? I can't figure it out either. On some skins they work, like PixOS, and on others they don't, like all of my skins. There are only a couple of lines each in the .xps file, so it's not like there's some complex configuration. This is a known and widely discussed Windows issue. XP does it even without WindowBlinds installed. Hopefully someone else can elaborate on that, since I'm only repeating what I've read. I don't think there is any solution.

Unfortunatley, Recycle Bin is not one of those desktop icons that XP lets you hide. The only way to hide it, that I know of, is to hide all of your desktop icons. Right click on your desktop, go to "Arrange icons by", and uncheck "Show desktop icons".

WindowBlinds only supports sounds for titlebar buttons. You have to use Sounds and Audio Devices in your Control Panel to adjust startup and shutdown sounds.

It's up to the wallpaper author to decide which format to include. It's a mix of both. You are right, JPG only works if Active Desktop is enabled.

First, you have to unzip the skin to the SysMetrix themes folder. Usually that's C:\Program Files\SysMetrix\Themes. Make sure it unzips into its own folder within the themes directory. Next, just open Sysmetrix, right click on the tray icon, and choose SysMetrix Configuration. The existing graphics library is for just that kind of thing. The description reads: "Submit your artwork and designs so application skinners can create skins from your designs and masterpieces!" That's what you mean, right?

Yes, as long as you have permission from the original author, you can do whatever they have given you permission to do. Often people get permission to port a skin to another application, or use a wallpaper in a logon or DesktopX theme, etc. If you make a wallpaper inspired by someone else's wallpaper, that is ok as long as they have given you permission to upload it. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb
