I reported the same problem a while back. This crash has occurred with every update of Fences and every driver update. Vista 64U SP1, nvidia 8800gt and 8600gt, 180.43 drivers. If it helps, there is a short pause before the editor crashes. The interface draws fine, then the program goes to do something behind the scenes presumably, and then crash. I can, if I am fast, click to another panel, see it change, then still crash.
Happy Thanksgiving one and all! [e digicons]:sun:[/e]
What OS are you using? WinFX is not certified for Vista.
Haha, that's his whole point, hombre. [e digicons];P[/e]
Sounds like a powerhouse. . . I don't know anybody who has that much RAM right now.
My current daily desktop is 4 cores with 8 gb and my 3D/graphics station has 8 cores with 16 gb of RAM, but it's designed to render 16 million polygon critters into 30 megapixel frames - oof! Brad must be dreaming of some HUGE compiles. [e digicons]:D[/e] I'd also never go with ATI. I'm an nVidia supporter BIG TIME.
Myself.. I'm completely sold on Tiggz PLastic Fantastic Icons.. Zero Jaggies, brilliant design.
Common ground FTW. [e digicons][/e] Yeah, Tiggz is phenomenal. I used to have the GT3 suite of DX objects, icons, you name it, all over my desktop. Just great stuff. When I break from this historical icon mode, I'll probably go back to a blend of the Wraith images and some of those KT4D icons I just saw over on Tiggz's page.
Nice setup
Thank you, Oh Master of Skins. [e digicons]:ninja:[/e] I spend upwards of 20 hours a day on this machine, so yeah, I've tweaked it...a lot. The dock icons don't match the feel of the desktop, but they at least match each other. They are just such a cool set, I just couldn't keep myself from using them. [e digicons]:P[/e]
My latest and greatest. [e digicons]:D[/e] Left - Winamp with ClearOne skin and CD Art Display for art and lyrics (modified Celluloid skin) Middle - Wraith Master Skin (with transparent explorer backgrounds) and Wraith Icon Package and Object Dock Zoomer dock for applications with the truly exquite and massive <a href="http://samantha-wright.deviantar
How many of those also work with transparency over them and also blend icons against the live video?
The WinAmp milkdrop plugin handles transparency (when it exists) in XP, as tested with the ClearOne Winamp skin and WindowBlinds, and flawlessly with all transparency enabled applications in Vista. My AGP 8x machine was the one I ran XP32 on when I used to do this. In Vista, for example, I am using Winamp/Milkdrop on the desktop right now on my third mon
I'd be interested in learning what driver issue is causing the problem. VLC can play desktop video on AGP cards and Milkdrop can play advanced procedural animation (Winamp music driven visualizations) on the desktop as well. And both have open source code available for programmer exploration. :) Is it strictly an issue with High-Definition video via AGP? Just curious. Either way, I'm looking forward to testing the new version. :)
And so far, no one, least of all you and Olberman (who has the IQ of a squid) has shown any proof otherwise.
While the rest of your post is just the same old insults, denial, hyberbole (a squid, really?!), and semantically misquoting me about the TWO Gulf Wars (as the entire WORLD defines them), this last one made me laugh enough to respond. Desktop Collage was just updated as well...here's the bug list (crossposted from the dream thread)... [e digicons][/e] I have downloaded a new version, even though it doesn't work correctly. :( However, I've tried some things and have found an issue. I believe it's why you keep getting the same images over and over. Once you select one directory, the program does recurse that one down, but it appears as though you can't always CHANGE
One year is not "years running". And that is raw dollars, not the other statistics that indicate high profits.
The article is QUOTING Exxon in its own words!
