Why not have the server re-compress the old thumbnails with the new settings, say as an idle priority task in the background so as not to affect the server performance unduly? These are such tiny thumbnails, I'd think it would happen surprisingly quickly.

Also, I used to be able to come here, glance in the upper right, see if there was a new topic/article and then go to read it. In the current design, the first "page" of information (before scrolling down) contains no "news". I didn't even realize there were any new articles on the site until I scrolled down to see them. That's just crazy, IMHO.

At least there is some competition for the phone companies now, which there wasn't in the old days. I still think it sucks mightily in every way. Another legacy of the Bush years, folks. They leave no mega-corporate monopoly unrewarded.
My gaming rig/main maching has an x-fi (because there is no other choice), but every one of the other dozen machines I own has a turtle beach sound board or on-board audio. And not a single client or friend/family of mine has bought a creative product since the Windows 2000 driver debacle. They have sucked for a very, very long time.

I love the idea of tying into a clock/time zone weather thing. Another idea would be to connect a webcam to it, so if someone has a feed from say Venice Beach you could have that running in the background instead of just a lil window in the corner. And the Milkdrop guys should tie their WinAmp plugin to this ASAP!!!
