This screenshot clearly shows there are no ship sections to target, only generic shields and armour.Maybe the scale with the huge fleet sizes are the reason. WWW Link

I played the demo and disliked what I saw.The game just seemed lightweight in all areas and the 3D starmap was dreadful.I actually think turnbased is much more suited to empire building games.I'm willing to bet a lot was sacrificed in Sins just so the devs could call it a trendy real time game.

In this screenshot it has those curvy ships fighting alongside the boxy early TEC ships.I think it is the most advanced TEC ship after TEC changed to a war economy.. WWW Link

The A.I makes the game great fun.I found the story very weak. The early levels were creepy.

The balance mod has much better A.I.SEV with the latest patch played with the balance mod is great fun.

Stardock made it very clear the game is beta. You have paid for the full game,so you will get the campaign when it is done.

Is this mod going to be converted to DarkAvator? The expanded ship combat and A.I would make it worth the hassle. Could you shorten the race descriptions as they are much too long and make it a nightmare in the diplomacy intel reports, having to pan down 5 paragraphs to get to the meat is a pain. Also there are bogus trade options for ships levels that do nothing, but are highly valued by the A.I in trading. Great work anyway.

You see the border background change straight away so there is little tension of the result. The devs said each race would have there own soldiers, tanks, etc it never happened.I also thought there would be a change of land war with divisions, etc after the early interview at IGN,that hasn't happened either.Land combat like minor races in GC remain very underdeveloped and poor.
