I hate this VS talk.GC2 was great.SEV is also great, but in a different way.The patch for SEV is released in monday,it fixes most of the issues.

Its supposed to be more like homeworld, that game had only 2 "races". Looks nothing like Homeworld,this is 4X.Thank god.

Buying SE5 is a must for 4X fans,pretty much like Dominions3 the choices available in the game are amazing.The real time tactical battles in SE5 are the best I have seen in a 4X game,great fun.I was messsing around the simulater with alltech cheat on in the demo,try it.

Why is advanced diplomacy and more politics as a separate vote? Cleary more politics is the most popular at this moment.I couldn't care less for tactical battes.In GC2 wars, there are almost 20 battles a turn it would become a snoozefest.

If I want an empire builder I would play Civ4.If I want real time battles I will be playing MedievelTotalWar2.If I want a 4x game I will be playing the GC2 expansion. Spore seems a gimmick with many parts, that are all very lightweight.
