"There can be only one" would have been funnier. Yes, there is probably a limit. But if you've got hundreds of logons installed... it's not very practical. Horde the spares in another directory.

The difficulty with the Drake equation is filling in the numbers. :) R we can make a reasonable guess at. fp is growing with each passing month (as opposed to older theories which had planetary formation as more rare, we're reaching the point where we can start to get limited quantitative numbers). ne is still up in the air (and may well have dependencies like a Jupiter-like vacuum cleaner being around to sweep up or eject debris to give the earth-like planet a destiny of other than a c
Whoever is having problems getting the updates, email [email protected] your serial number, the email address you are trying to use, and preferably \program files\stardock\sdcentral\login.txt. From reading the above posts, it seems like there's at least one instance where someone has 2 different email addresses.
FWIW, I own all 4 on DVD and really only tend to rewatch the Ritchie films. Not that that'll stop me from buying Kill Bill on DVD. Really enjoyed that, though I felt it could have used a little tighter editing in some places.
Clarification: it's the 4.09 (or later) beta of SkinStudio Professional on Stardock Central.
The last 48 hours have been (and continue to be) a bit of an odd duck as far as uploads and such working. If this persists at the end of the week, please let us know. We're not getting filtered into a junk mail folder or something by your spam filters?
Remove the shareware and install the enhanced version linked with your order. The installer will prompt you for your serial. https://www.stardock.com/support can be used to resend the download info + serial to the email address you ordered under.
The "long term" qualifiers in #11 are a bit confusing to me (as to their use). Accounting for the swing in statistics, the firebombing of Tokyo was (give or take) 100K dead. That doesn't include wounded, which would be at least that again. On a strict "how many died almost immediately", Tokyo takes the cake. ~3x as many dead as Dresden, iirc, and some 30K more than Hiroshima. More Japanese (and let's face it, civilians) were killed during the firebombing raids (some 300K?
https://www.stardock.com/support can be used to send the latest download link and serial number for anything you've ordered. I've taken the liberty of doing that for you.
I got emails from him on the 22nd and 23rd, fwiw.
I have replaced the download at http://storage.stardock.com/files/bootskin10_rc0.exe with a changed installer that may help with that. Please reinstall it and let us know how it goes. If you continue to experience problems importing, email [email protected] and I'll send you a private debug build over the weekend.
Make sure you've checked Show pre-release versions under the SDC View menu.
And the Help menu of the latest builds.
Pioneer 10 & 11, as well as Voyager 1 & 2, are all beyond Pluto's orbit at this point.
For the record, without anything to do with NextSTART, if your ODNT subscription lapses, you can renew for another year for the same price whether its been expired 1 day or 1 year (or more).
I believe we're somewhere in the P's in sending out the current one. You should have yours tomorrow.
I've checked 4.2 with a limited user account and it can do a different skin. Granted, I didn't check XP Home, but that shouldn't matter. You must install under an Admin user to begin with though.
neophil78, Neil took some extra time this Saturday and dug even deeper into the 9x version. We did find some extra GDI usage that should help things for initially loading, but the USER resource issue I'm reasonably certain is not WB. Esp. as you're down to 70% before even loading WB.
Install http://mi.stardock.com/private/mcp_notfound.exe on it. It'll fit on a floppy.
I guess we're thankful for small things. Like that its happening now instead of Thursday.
The server with most of the library downloads is refusing to come back from a reboot. It's possible we're going to have to roll back to an archive, but we're kind of stuck until we hear back from the co-lo. It does not help that this is a holiday week here in the US and lots of people/plans are in flux. The outage will continue in some fashion into Tuesday (GMT-5) Sorry, everybody. For those of you in the US, enjoy your holidays. For everyone else, cook a turkey and some cranberri
Library downloads will remain off for probably the next 2 hours.
Fujitsu SCSI. We've lost at least 3 IBM Deathstars here over the last 2 years. At least 1 of them I suspect was a thermal issue, but not sure about the other ones.
One of our server hard drives is trying to fail on us. RAID has helped with it so far, but library downloads are suspended while we make some additional snapshots of the current data set.
