No-- the modem plugs into the usual network card I was wondering about RF interference or something, but I guess I'm drifting into left again...

My aDSL modem got fried in a thunder storm. I got a new one a few days ago & set it on top of the PC case instead of on a table where the old one was. Last night, my mouse pointer quit responding, but it comes back for a while if I unplug & replug the USB connection. Then it dies again if I don't use it for a few minutes. Pretty irritating. The problems came up suddenly-- have not had mouse trouble for a long time. Disabled CursorXP for a while, but it made no difference. The mou
You go, Girl!!!
Maybe it's a WB5-NVIDIA GeForce issue. My ATI seems fine
If you right click the desktop & select Refresh, it should clear up. You might post the the WBconfig System Information for more help specific to your video card
Tabs! Also multiple docks and additional settings It's very inexpensive
Well, Happy Birthday to you, Po'!!!
I agree that a wba should be complete. If someone wants t o include something extra, fine, but the wba should skin the customary parts for people who do not have the additional program.
EarthLiink aDSL-- sometimes better than others, but good overall. Lightning fried my DSL modem last week. Using dial-up while waiting for a replacement showed me how little patience I have anymore. There's no going back...
used on my mom's computer and cleared out 2 gigs I know what you mean
¡Hola! Welcome back!
You probably have enough drive space to run the country of Australia. Remember when a 1MB drive was HUGE?
Anybody know what MPC Smart Startup does?
Don't bring green eggs & ham... maybe some gummi worms
While changing SDC settings, I came across some features I hadn't noticed before. After hanging around this place for a year, I thought I'd at least heard of the basics, but these 2 are new to me. The setting options are in the SDC Tools>Settings dialog. Select Settings on the sidebar and locate the first section-- Settings What are these 2 options? -Enable MPC notification area suppor
Are you using the latest version of Object Dock? Might make a difference
Shamelessly bumping my thread-- I figure I'm not the only one who didn't notice this update.
No matter how things turn out, you will never regret your decision to be there for your dad and spend this time with him. My prayers are with you and your family.
would you please post links to these idiots pages? Not a good idea to post links to rips or cracks- some people abuse such links. Tycus is right-- best to report a rip to the site where it's located.
If your Start menu has holes in it, ie, doesn't paint completely the first time you click Start, be sure to try the 28-Jul-06 WB5 update. It resolved the issue for several types of graphics cards (including mine) Version: WB5 5.01h(b).012 Changelog It's in SDC <img src="http://images.stardock.com/w
My problem is gone Before version 5.01h(b).012, the Start menu had gaping holes when it opened & I had to launch it twice to use it. With the new build, the Start menu displays as expected on the first click each time. I've tried several wba's & so far, all is well. Thanks! Sorry WebGizm
I have had no problems using Object Dock, ObjectBar, Right Click & ED together. A couple of things to check: When you open the ED config dialog, General tab, General section, did you select the first 2 items-- to show ED when saving files & to show it when opening files? ED deosn't work with MS Office proggys Some programs don't use ED unless forced - see Forced tab Some proggys balk or crash with ED - see Exclusions tab To see how ED looks &
