In future, if you are asking for assistance for a problem additional information about your system is important. That is a bit of an issue. I cannot see any keyboard keys bound to zoom in/zoom out. Often RTS games use Page Up/Down but this is not the case. Currently key bindings are not user configurable. You could try a third party application to translate key presses into mouse wheel until this is implemented. For example, I use EventGhost ( http://www.eventghost.org/ ) on my media center, this could be configured to send mouse whee
Genuine "alien alien". Is there even such a thing? Seraphim were my least favourite part of Supreme Commander Forged Alliance, they felt like a reskinned Aeon which the developers gave up on half way due to lack of funds or to meet a deadline.
I would recommend heading over to the general troubleshooting if you haven't already. https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?/default_import/Knowledgebase/Article/View/530/175/general-ashes-troubleshooting Down the bottom of the page are instructions on how to fill out a support ticket.
What graphics driver version are you using? There have been several reports lately from AMD users with flickering issues when using the most recent drivers. DX12 can utilise the asynchronous compute units, so you would expect to get higher frame rates in DX12 than DX11.
It is still there, but it has been changed how it works. If you put your factories into control group(s) (Ctrl + [Number]) then they are picked up by the idle factories check, and the F2 key works. I would prefer to not have to put them into control groups to enable the idle factory shortcut, but there are some benefits to the way it works now that I do not use.
May I ask please, where can I obtain this software? I would really appreciate that!
Multi-GPU is an optional feature of the DirectX 12, which developers can choose to implement to allow people to make use of two closely matched graphics cards which do not need to be of the same manufacturer. Multi-GPU is implemented in the DirectX 12 version of Ashes of the Singularity. Other games that are developed using Dire
Knife Fight is a very small map. I would recommend focusing on Frigates, Cruisers with a bit of air support. You should win before your economy has established to the point where you can support the production of a Dread Launch and Dreadnought. One of the easiest ways to start the match is to start building an engineer, and send your start engineer to a nearby node to capture (I go with radioactive so I can start building quanta generators ASAP). Have the engineer const
Have you tried using an older driver?
Yes, I 've tried playing with SLI disabled.
Did you disable the SLI between the cards and between the two GPUs on each card?
your last gameplay and balance changes decrease game variety during start till the end of midgame because of the lag of ressources now. That slows the game down for nothing and having less possibilities.
Yes, the game is slower now. If you are playing single player, then you can increase your game speed to fastest.
The last amd driver 16.3.1 kills the game as well (horrible stutter and I had a shutdown in borderless window and a fail
Although PHC and Substrate units have effectively the ballpark total HP+Shield, the PHC dreadnoughts have armour, while the Substrate do not. This would mean the PHC dreadnoughts will take less damage than Substrate. Constructors (currently) repair the hulls of nearby substrate units. Some players prefer playing as Substrate, they have their strengths.
A couple of engineers/constructors can capture a fully creeped out relay just by walking in and building a couple of smarties/annihilators, they heal each other so there isn't any problems with the creeps tickling their feet. This doesn't mean you should, it is slow, and sending in a real strike force to clear it out is much faster. I do not see any issue with engineers/constructors being able to capture nodes. Taking this away would even further reduce the number of choices y
This issue was previously observed and reported for Skirmish after running the tutorial. It is of much greater concern that it effects multiplayer/ranked matches.
Will Engineers/Constructors still heal each other or will this be changed also? Adding the Quantum Relay as a pre-requisite to build the Orbital Fabricator will push the Repair and Drone bays to later in the game. It might be worth considering to change the Repair Bay pre-requisites to the Quantum Relay.
This is asking way to much, but would it be possible down the line to have a "Custom AI", configurable in the game menu with sliders for the various factors, personality drop down menu and check boxes for disabling things like orbitals and air etc. This could allow players who find "difficulty X" too easy, and "difficulty Y" too difficult to find their right balance without having to add extensive amounts of AI levels.
Yes, I tested this and got the same result. Afterwards, selecting individuals, and toggling the repeat queue off then on again got the repeat working again for me.
What are you synchronising and why? I think you need to figure out that other 90%.
Sorry, I clearly should not have used a rhetorical question. Stop riding the white pony.
25,000 units, or 25,000 logistics. There were quite a lot of dreadnoughts and cruisers so the unit count would be be quite a bit lower than the logistics. Sorry to be nit-picky.
[e digicons]o_O[/e] Really?
I would definitely not recommend playing against Insane AI. As it's name suggests it is not for sane or proper people. There does appear to be a massive difference between Beginner and Easy difficulties. It might make sense to have an additional AI difficulty level between beginner and easy ("Very easy"?) to smooth out the learning curve. Beginner AI: Metal: 0.5 Radioactives: 0.5 Build: 0.25 Research: 0.5 <
The higher rank you are the less likely you are to be matched with an AI. Eventually you will only be ranked with other players, of which there may not be a large number of people at your level at the time of day that you are playing.
When you have multiple factories selected, setting repeat queue only sets it to the first selected factory (not all). I have always had to set repeat queue to factories individually. Is this the issue that you are having?
It has been a great many years since I played total annihilation, but I recall Krogoth was a Core unit, Arm didn't really have much to fill the Krogoths role.
