Adobe has funky UI. I am still miffed over the way the colors of some fonts and icons refuse to adapt when you change the color of the windows. My eyes would feel sooooo much better if i could shift the window colors down to something under 40% grey, but then everything starts fading into the background...

hrm, i dunno about peripherals. I have had some of those neoprene-gel wrist rests for teh keyboard and the mousepad, and they felt way too much like a coed in a wetsuit... I think anything more realistically skinned would be a distraction. Besides, if a 'peripheral' was larger than a handful, it would be a waste, right? I don't think stardock has any say about what ads are shown, and the color was probably either a coincidence or maybe a js trick or something. (can you reference the background color as a generic value from banner scripting, to make it match the background? Maybe if it is a css variable... dunno... jafo: unfortunately "[who buys/uses them at present is irrelevant]" isn't so. In order for you to say that we are doing this for oil you need to prove that we *need* the oil enough to warrant the expense. Last time I checked we get 18% of our oil from Iraq. Saudi Arabia alone has said they can adjust output and offset a total loss of Iraq's oil for the duration of any conflict. I am not anti-semitic, not by a long shot. I do, however, have doubts about the existence of the state of Israel, or at least how they are accomplishing it. heh, nope. Only the *owner* of the work can give permission to create derivative works. Depending on the recording used that might be Lee Greenwood, or the Corporation that owns it. Nah, it works out more like this. 1) Saddam Hussein need only to remain in power to victimize his people and threaten others outside his country. He has ample aid from anti-war Europe and Asia to resupply and rebuild, regardless of sanctions. 2) There is no way other than force to remove him from power. 3) Opposing the use of force is therefore supporting his position of power, which allows him to victimize his people and threaten others outside his country.
