p.s. and RAM is what it takes to have 50 history levels of an image with 100 layers. Again, if you knew what was possible, you'd understand why the app uses ram. Educate yourself a bit and these things will make more sense.

I think your observation about KPT is a bit 'a priori'. It wouldn't scream that if you weren't familiar with it, and it was developed to replicate what many of us do by hand. I think you underestimate the average skinner here. The fact that I hate KPT doesn't mean I think it is 'cheating'; I think it is less convienent and not 'my' work. I don't want someone else's app to do my work for me. If you look into how most of the best themes are done, I think you will see that most of us c

I agree with moshi to a point, but what we consider perks are terrible drawbacks to most people. You can't get people to download drivers, much less reset the shell, hunt down a working LS site, and find the exact build of the exact module they need to make your theme work. I really got miffed when they imposed a half-@$$ed standard on LS themers when the usability problems were 99.9% in the hands of developers. If they are gonna make it accessible to the unwashed with installers, etc

Are they celebrating a failed coup, or is it a good excuse to burn stuff, blow stuff up, and generally annoy Fuzzy? This is one of those questions that has its own built-in answer. I am a pretty patriotic guy, but here in the U.S. July 4th is pretty much an excuse for people to get drunk, barbeque, and shoot bottle rockets at each other. i used to live beside Tellico Lake in Tennessee, and the Naval battles that took place between all houseboats was somthing to behold. It has about a

The Ella McPerson mention reminds me of the movie Sirens. Anyone see that? Kind of a chick movie, but plenty enough to keep a guy occupied during all 'cute' the Hugh Grant stuttering... I never really thought she was all that good looking til I saw that movie, and I have to say it was illuminating. Though I am constantly distracted by rachel ( http://www.actressarchives.com/display

dark_seraphim: I alsways seem to have that effect on women... As for the sculpting, you'd win for sure. The only sculpting I have done has been in wood and it is nothing to write home about, lemme tell ya... Lecrayon: No good moments for you! Go paint flowers.

Talisman is *nice*; don't let anyone tell ya different. I've put a bit of automation behind it and it is doing everything but bringing me coffee There's some work yet to be done, but this is a very, very different beast than it was 3 years ago. LS could outpace it, but not without an organized, professional effort, and frankly I don't think organized or professional is what LS is about, now or eve

Malikai: If you don't want spam, don't post your addy. If you leave it visible at *any* site, you are gonna get spam, for the same reason Google finds yer pr0n fer ya. I'm sure this isn't the only site you are registered to. A piss-poor programmer can write a script to glean user e-mail addresses if he has a reasonable familiarity with how a site works. Your name is a link, the link leads to your user page, and the email is in the same spot every time. You want spam?

np People think I am crabby, but I actually like helping out. I don't really expect people to act on everything I say. The problem is, most people who ask for opinions really just want affirmation. I have a short list of folks I annoy from time to time when I want my stuff trashed, and without them it would be far more mediocre than it already is. Glad to know my perspective was helpful.<

I think IP raiding is going to be mainly in the international forum in the years to come. As the populations of obtuse and openly antagonistic nations become more and more internet-accessible, there will be serious problems. I fear that there will be havens for people who want to steal IP soon, in places like Eastern Europe, Asia, Africa, Middle-Eastern nations, etc. Illegal activities have always been a way of generating revenue for corrupt governments, and the Internet makes it twice as con

Rumor has it she has been shoplifting for years at numerous stores but no one had the nerve to say anything. It was supposedly one of those "Winona is allowed to steal anywhere she likes" things that had a bit of a backlash. Her m.o. was leaving her account open so when/if they caught her they could just add it on. This time they were in a bad mood, I guess. She is one of those women that seem to get better looking with age. They showed a few old clips along with the new ones the ot

well, you've built-in props. goalposts and helmets spring to mind, and heck, a football is pretty much cursor-shaped. Maybe for the 'wait' state you could make the football gyrate/spin slightly, like it was flying throught the air. I don't play/watch football, but I'm sure someone else here would have a few more ideas. oh, and watch out for all the folks who are gonna rant about how Soccer and Rugby are really 'football' <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/joke.gif" bor

Thanky, Jafo. And re: my comments on the wallpaper section. I don't advocate getting rid of it, BUT i do think that the strenuousness of moderation is a good way of 'keeping it in its place'. I think you guys should be exactly as selective as the section is draining on resources. It looks good to me so far.

I wouldn't really mind if you got banned, but my post was a hint that you were being idiotic, adn that you should shut up. You just asked me 'who appointed you God' after trying to impose your own standards on someone else's site for hours... presumptuous? Um, yeah. (Here, I'll try again) Hold that thought...

Yes, he does, but you obviously don't. You are ranting to people who can't do anything differently, and wouldn't if they could. Deviantart doesn't moderate, why not go there, upload until you drop from exhaustion, and save the whining? You have your answer, why ask again? Right now your argument is: "You are mean for not liking my stuff, and I am gonna whine until you like it!" A bit... um... pathetic, maybe?

A great deal of it is implied. There is very little woods, destiny, and yadda, yadda, yadda. The figure itself looks to be a flat, vector object at first, but then you have shadowed the back of his head. IF you are going to give him realistic depth, the pattern on his clothing wouldn't be flat, it would fold and bend away with the contours of the body. It is kind of like you can't make up your mind how realitic to make the scene. There's nothing wrong either way, but you kind of have to pic
