How about this: the greatest happiness is "To crush your enemies, drive them before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women." -Genghis Khan

dark_seraphim , JamMeister33: seriously, look around. You are not being realistic. What kind of site is this? Is this a cutting edge, hip, art site? Is this a grandmotherly seasonal wallpaper site? Hell no! It's a *skin* site. The wallpaper section here is, and should be, looked upon as dubious waste of resources. It's a good thing only so far as it compliments the skins and apps. To over-tax a skin site in the expensive transfer of wallpapers makes no sense, and is the reason

90% Wallpapers made with Bryce don't have "BRYCE" written across them, and yet you tell almost immediately. Why? Because the style isn't that of the artist, it is the style of the APP . The higher the level of automation, the more responsibility you have to overcome it. I think I'll go downtown tomorrow and demand to know why they don't respect my God-given right to hang Bryce artwork in their galleries. I'll take notes for ya, Jam, it should be enlightening. pffft.

I haven't sworn off voting, but I have determined never to pick the lesser of two evils, (i.e vote for evil). If I genuinely want someone to be in office I will vote for them, but this time around I wouldn't want to be responsible for the success of any of the people I have to choose from...

I'm in the process of putting a peice together on this sort of thing. The xml system I made for my site was really, really flawed, so I am having to reformat a good bit of content. SHoulnd't be long, though. Self-education is a double edged sword. I'll say for the time being that while it probably was right-hand bias that led to right-side scrollbars, but lefties have it licked otherwise. The

none here. try Mailwasher. it lets you sort through your email before you download it and send 'bounce' messages back to all the ones you don't want. It's free, too. It seems to have dried up my spam a bit.

I like the one from dragonslayer... and Boxxi: you shouldn't promote the adoption of baby dragons that way. That is what they do in Florida with baby alligators, and they all get flushed down the toilet. Do you really want sewers full of fire breathing Drakes??? Think of how big they would get eating all those giant sewer alligators!!

I would add that it is kind of self-perpetuating, as well. I mean, more people use it, so then more people skin it, and that means there are more skins for it, which means there are more reasons for people to choose it. If coolplayer had more really nice, exclusive skins, then I am sure it would get a equatable boost in attention. Moral? Keep Skinnin!

hrm, well, I have always skinned coolplayer, and I like it. I use it on my laptop a great deal; it is p90 with 48 megs of ram, and Coolplayer is the prefect low-level choice. On the other hand, I use Winamp3 on my design machine. I have never been comfortable with Coolplayer's playlist. It has been a while since I downloaded a new version, and they may have cleaned it up, but it is flakey to me on the version I use now. Also, Winamp has always had a good deal of interface

I immediately deduct points for butchering a quote from Shakespeare and a reasonably good song by the scorpions... lmao... j/k Beyond that, I don't see anything particularly wrong with your art. I even kind of like "Dark Seraphim" and "B-witching Hour". I do, though, see a few reasons you might have trouble. Promenently displayed URLs and credits are usually a no-no, in that they really detract from the art and tend to be interpreted as spam. That's a small point, b
