Generally the only time you need to modify other people's talk is to reformat it to clarify discussions - and that's rarely necessary (it's primarily an issue on Wikipedia because their talk pages get sooooo long). Articles are edited mercilessly.

If you have two computers, that's just fine. We're not Microsoft - plus we figure you can only really play a game once at a time. If you have a computer and your friend has a computer, that's less OK. They obviously derive benefit from playing the game. We're weilling to let this slide for members of your immediate family in the same house who want to beat you on the metaverse. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Smile.gif"

87 articles and counting! Of course, none of them are perfect (most of them are a long way from perfect), but it's getting to the point where it might actually be useful. If you're reading this, feel free to pile on with your own contributions.

Oh, and as for tips - make sure that your spending is appropriate for the situation, tax as much as you can get away with (usually around 50% morale is good), be sure to set the spending sliders at the same time, don't be afraid to buy ships if necessary to get off to a good start, but avoid getting into serious debt or you'll be paying for it later. Trade with other races, or they will just trade amongst themselves and beat you. Expand, explore, explo

Alas, Todd is right. It seems the Snathi just aren't important enough for our spies. Etiher that or they kept killing our operatives and using their heads to store nuts.

Yeah, sorry about that. It's something that only comes up after you play a few games, and we tended to just be making ships now and again to make sure that that feature worked. I think it should ask whether you want to delete it from all future games, at least.

I don't think there's anything wrong, in that it's by design that you can change these abilities. Whether that design was a good idea or not is another question, but as far as I know, that's how it's "meant" to work. However, if you have default abilities, and then you pay more points to get less abilities, that sounds like a bug. Make sure you're not just getting points back for selecting a lower level of ability, though.</fon

I get really annoyed by starbases, sometimes. It would be nice to be able to invade them directly or subvert them in some manner. Realistically, though, most starbases would have some kind of auto-destruct sequence to prevent them being used by opposing races (if only by overloading the local fusion reactor).

It is true we could probably reach more people if we actually advertised directly on the site. We just have to weigh it against how many more people we could get advertising elsewhere on a place where most people don't know about it. Alas, we don't yet have the funds to plaster adverts across every site for a couple of weeks like some of the big-name games. Thank you for convincing your friends to buy, by the way. Every copy makes a d
