There is more to do, because more things can be skinned. As a result it is perhaps harder to make a good WB skin in a reasonable amount of time. This is unfortunate, but unavoidable if more things need skinning now then they used to. Heh, yes, it's under warranty now - will it stil be in a few years time, though? Perhaps they expect to pick up a bit of extra work later . . . you have to ask why they don't just do it as standard. Could be it would just use more fuel than normal in that configuration.

All skins submitted become the property of PlanetAMD64. Authors will retain ownership of the designs but ALL submitted skins stays with us. This seems a little contradictory. Exactly what rights are being signed away? What are you going to do with the submitted skins? This needs to be made more clear. Yes, it has been thought of. It is not yet possible with WindowBlinds to do per-pixel alpha on window borders (or on the taskbar for that matter). You could use DesktopX to make the taskbar/start panel, and maybe you could do something with WindowFX "shadows", but the reality of translucent borders is not with us yet, I am afraid.

bl33k: I know of one colour problem in the Favorites menu for some older skins (text may appear black or overly bold). Stardock are currently working on a modification to fix that. It's not a huge problem, though.

I think that inasmuch as it is bad for the company with no significant positive side then perhaps it would be best to make changes. For example, your posts on free software which so deftly linked fact and opinion were placed onto the TotalGaming website in the "Featured Articles" section.
