Logon Studio for XP isn't supported by Stardock anymore, so you won't see any changes with it. I generally use a widescreen wall when I make mine if it will look good at standard also. But sometimes I need to make a wide and a standard res. logon and zip them so people can choose which one they need. With broadband becoming much more available, a 5 or 6mb file isn't that big of a deal to download. With Logon Studio Vista, all you can do right now is change the wallp

I just tried downloading from here: WWW Link and it works fine.
Try rebooting now....
Are you using XP?? Using anything other than the English language pack? Has it ever worked, or did it break using the Vista Reflections logon?
Happy Birthday!
Mine is always on. Other than a bit of electricity use, I don't really see a reason to turn it off. Things like updates and spyware or virus scans or defragging can be scheduled and done in the middle of the night also, so I don't have to bother when I'm on the computer.
Happy Birthday my friend!
InterfaceLIFT and Customize.org both have a nice setup to download walls. The artist uploads their highest resolution standand and/or widescreen walls and the site resizes them for smaller resolutions. I don't really know how it works, but it would seem like a lot of work for the site to me, but it's a great system for knowing what sizes are availab
Also, if you are using a small bmp and stretching it, sometimes it will give you the white spoltches and you need to edit a line in the uifile. You need to change whatever your uifile says....it's usually line 14 at the top of the uifile....to this: element [id=atom(contentcontainer)] { background: rcbmp(100,6,#FF00FF,sysmetric(0),sysmetric(1),0,0); The "background" line needs to look like that.... The only problem is that everytime
Dell's "Outlet" site is a great place to save a lot for a new "scratch and dent" or "previously ordered" or basically new "refurbished" computer. My last 3 computers, plus one for my sister and a friend, have all been from Dell Outlet. They have a lot of stock there, and if you monitor the site frequently for a while, you can find an excellent deal. Free shipping within a week, and I have never had a hardware problem with any of them. The savings is usually at least $300
Generally, If you change something in the uifile or theme.ini and then reopen it in the Logon Studio editor, it will change your settings back to default. As far as changing the size of the Username font, it is string 45, towards the bottom of the theme.ini. I believe 14 is the default size.
Email: [email protected] and explain the problem and they should be able to reset it for you. It's the weekend so it may be a couple of days.
As long as a logonui.exe doesn't have a "splash", it will usually convert fine to a .logonxp. When there is a splash, there are a few errors that need to be changed in the theme.ini.
A semi-crazy Boss is better than no Boss? Thanks rob!
Most people who create a wallpaper tend to do it in the res that they use. Of course it depends on the type of wall...but a full scene panoramic type of wall is impossible for someone using 1024x768 res. They just can't visualize something on their monitor to create a 1920x1200 wall. Sure, they can make an abstract in Bryce or C4D in a larger res and it will probably look ok if they crop it right, but for the most part, a really nice looking wall in a high res needs to be cre
I have a clue when to shutup and I didn't, and I apologize for my behaviour....No excuses, I just blew it. Sorry to all that I offended.
I behave badly when I hear garbage and bullshit.....guess I'm in...
Somebody at WC please make vStyler a master so we don't have to hear his garbage anymore....hell...make Po one too if it will accomplish the same thing. One kisses ass for money, the other one does it for companionship....
IMOFHO, IMO, MYOWNFUCKING OPINION....lock this thread too.....
I appologize for those who jumped the gun without fully thinking it through. it that was aimed at me....I FULLY thought it through.....
Oh, and Po....grow some balls....IMO...IMVHO...all that garbage.....say what you mean and don't try to not get banned for what you want to say. Just say it!
No, not hard. Time consuming is the point I'm trying to make. 5min per wallpaper equals just shy of 24 hours of work in a week. That's a load of crap. We don't need to hear the whining....people that mod should know what they are moderating and be familiar with it. If a site is going to be moderated, the mods should spend more than a couple of hours at other sites seeing what is out there. If they have other things to do besides th
You don't need to be so politically correct at this, just know what you're doing. It "ain't" that hard. Damn, you make it sound like it's such a big thing. 30, 40, 50 things for someone to moderate? Yeah, it's hard if you don't spend time at other sites...but if you do, it's not hard at all. But to the people that actually spend time going to other skinning sites, it's very apparent that the mods miss way too much.
I'd love to know how you would do it so it was better. Please help me find the search engine that allows me to upload an image and find similar ones. Please give me the words to tell my wife why I am researching wallpapers instead of playing with the kids. -sigh- Not everyone has kids. Tons of people on WC spend all day on the net checking out skins and walls and whatever else. Those are the people that would be the best at this if you are goi
