Thanks. I believe you're right on. I'll give it a try and report back.

Sleep/Rest well Cephalo. Probably can't say it better than StevenAus, so yeah what he said. [e digicons][/e]
I love this mod! Thanks for the updates.

You won't miss your old exe. [e digicons]:)[/e]
I was thinking of modding some spells myself and I had a question about random numbers. Is it okay to use certain math functions in the expression? Like RND() for random numbers? Also how do you reference the caster's level instead of his intelligence?
Thanks for Sharing.
Question: What do I need to do, if I don't want to replace but add new spell as outlined in the code above? Next thought, more healy items. Salted pork is good but gimme some leg of mutton!
Awesome x-mas present! Thanks!! Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas Brad and Stardock!
I agree on that. Also some love for the rejuve spells too. I found myself researching into spell levels 4, 5 and 6 and not finding anything. While I found a spell that can flat out damage something for 30 points! IMO you should have healing just as powerful as the damaging or almost par. But the OP makes a good point here and I agree.
They're still working on it. More or less. 1.1 was a major overhaul. You're asking for more gravy/sugar on top. It'll get there eventually.
I feel your pain. I too have a good top end system and the game plays like crap. Have to wait for it to unfreeze if it doesn't crash. It doesn't happen right away, but maybe 100+ turns in when the game starts getting good. Boo. [e digicons][/e]
So is there a way to change ini settings to stop this crap? Like disabling intro movies ? Unnecessary wait sucks, dood!
Are you sure you're playing 1.1? I've not seen any resource heavy maps unless they were custom.. A random game.. I don't see those kind of numbers. So, I'd have to disagree with the OP here. One grain of thought may be to make warfare take longer to research. I'm also disagreeing on the war staff. It's not given for free at the start of the game, you have to research several techs to get access. My take on resources is scarce (rare) an
I am thinking with my CIV hat this time. You know what happens if you get to mid- or end- game with no coal/oil/ aluminum? You're screwed! That's what. That's the importance of this thread. While I may not like 'changes' without knowing what changes are going to be necessarily, I'll admit it's needed. Back to Elemental, what if you get x shard and really wanted y type instead.. or no access to end game resources? Also

I would also like to see a Stardock style sandbox RPG. Oblivion and Fable are the big names in that particular niche, but neither really strikes my fancy well - Oblivion mostly because the mechanics that have been driving the Bethesda games are pretty poor, and Fable because, well... it
interesting ideas. I'd like a hero editor to be made if modding is still going the route it is.. or if its all bundled in to one package, at least have that included with it. Getting tired of the same old boring folks with the same old boring clothes and lack of interesting abilities.
Congratulations Kael.
I don't pay much heed to reviews not in print. I read the Game Informer magazine from GameStop and 360 magazine. I only like a few genres anyway, RPG & TBS. I don't buy something with a low score 6 or below. Now when it comes to reading reviews from users about say buying Electronics(sites like newegg and amazon). I do take their advice.
EDIT: No need to guess anymore. Winner winner chicken dinner.
*Jaw Drop* OMG! So it is a useful spell after all..
[quote who="Frogboy" reply="15" id="2799141"]There is nothing wrong with "city spam" per se. The problem with it is that right now, in 1.09, city spam is the most effective tactic for the game. City spam is caused by: 1. It costs basically nothing to found a city. 2. It is the most effective way to gain access to resources quickly. 3. It allows you to out train your oppponent. These are the 3 issues IMO that have to be addressed in v1.1.[
