It's hard for me to get excited over Blizzard just redoing the games that made them successful a decade ago. I, too, look back on games like StarCraft and Diablo I and II with misty, rose-colored glasses, but I'm also sick and tired of treading the same water. Come on, Blizzard, come up with a new idea. You used to be so damn good at that. Now it's just 'ooh, let's put in some new graphics and do it all over again'.
I tried to play one of those Roller Coaster Tycoon games. I've never been so bored by a game in all my life. Seriously. Maybe it's just me, but every time I've tried a 'tycoon' or economy game, I've quit quickly, ready to break stuff I was so unfulfilled as a gamer.

One of my favorite things (and it's small, which is probably why it was such a pleasant surprise) is how the main menu remembers who you were playing as last, and puts that person as the front of the slew of five that bobble during the main menu. It was hilarious to see Lord Kona alongside Obama, McCain, Clinton, and Romney.
