When the UP comes up to determine where to put the zoo or prison, you they will escape at some thine in the game. so vote to send it to the largest treath. you'll loose the extra bonus but when they escape, they will damage someone else. ~SDC~

I have not seen them since the beta. they were slow then, 1 parsec per month. Avoid them, move your freighters around, and don't keep anything in orbit that could be destroyed. Keep cash to buy something in case of an invasion. And like Elrikk said, flee.... ;) ~SDC~

You have put in a lot of work on this. I think I undestand where you are going with this. I have not worked out these numbers as they are too volatile due to other variables such as tax rate and sending rate, and I have not worked those out either. My challenge is to match as close as possible the optimization curve of the underlying formula, by managing the play variables. I guess you could plug some data to further your performance, but would'nt that be defeating the

During the beta stage there were some cheese (cheats) that allowed to prolong the game to exercise the different situations of the game, such as more money, more powerfull attack population. The delayed release of the game allowed for "play testing", and the game going out on the 26 is clean, meaning as free of bugs, and many, many playability changes (improvements). Once the game is release, I would support a few documented cheats to help with learning the game. That would reduce the l

From my experience, population is very tricky, because of it's impact on morale, unless the planet production can support that level of population. Planet production capacity is very progressive. Social projects, research and starbases will improve production, but require quite a few years to build up. At times you may want to slow your population progression, in other words create a 50% morale, because you dont have the production to support larger population. The propula

never built one with GC for win, did it a few times in os2, but i find it expensive to destroy and loose a good planet that you could conquer. do you loose the terror star once you used it? ~SDC~

There are no research list, you have to select what next you want to research after each is complete. Althoug I tend to research a regular path, you have to optimize it at each opportunity, including changing what you a researching before it finishes depending on how the game develops. The games are sufficiently different that it you need to re-evaluate. If you dont do this you will not maximize your results. ~SDC~
