That's a viable option, unless they have speed +10 ships or planets near you. Then you just have to be careful about it.

$$$$. They're really, really fun to rip off. You can use them as little bezerkers, or as banks. Whatever you want really.
Yeah but... what would they be buying if the planet is blockaded? Who said anything about buying? It's my damn empire, if I say planet X gives money to planet Y, it had better give them the damn money. I control the resources, it's basically just sharing out the excess wealth from one area to even the deficit of another. Other than financially, p
Maybe on GalCiv3 we will get planetary Bombardment TC, multiplayer, but never bombardment. Frogboy hates the idea. As said before, you think a nuke could outdamage a black hole? Not likely.
Planetary defence helps when you get invaded, it does nothing to the ships in orbit.
This isn't about GC2, this is about GCS2:DA. As far as I'm aware, no shop has it. If they do, they're probably lying. This is totalgaming digital distribution only.
Go back and claim your money then. Of course it's WAI, you need the orbital fleet manager to fleet ships on a planet.
No, because they're a specific class of hull. You can't choose 2 sets of hulls. However, you can use Kryo or Cari-elfs mods to use the DL hulls.
There are no limitations, you just need to research the required tech.
And get some new drivers, or get used to crashing. 2004 doesn't have a hope.
That wouldn't work, because the AI could then attack the bases. Which is exactly what you're trying to stop.
Drath > Yor. Fat lot of good that miniturisation bonus is if I know every last detail of their empire within 3 months of game start, and the defence bonus is enough to offset the miniturisation when you get to big ships. Also, as a good race I can happily set the rest of the galaxy on the Yor, then use the espionage knowledge and a small fleet to capture key worlds.
In game. If you've patched to 1.1 or higher, you have it already.
Take into account new miniturisation? I'm reckoning a huge could top 240 easy.
All you listed. However, due to a cock up from the distributors, Stardock gave out the jewellery and everything else to whoever had a CE code, then decided to put the jewellery on the update anyway. The theme for windows (which I still use) and the map are unique to CE. The in-game stuff is for all.
Probably. They won't be able to launch anything either, so your minor friend will not be doing much.
I don't think it'll happen. If you think of how many ships would be required to blockade an entire PLANET, it's not likely. Besides, planets are self-sufficient, aside from cash. And that could be transfered digitally, planet-planet. It's a nice idea, but I doubt it'll appear. So I'm afraid you'll have to stick to slowly buying out their trade routes. By "buying out" I mean blowing them up and paying off the other races not to mind <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL
Woo! Thanks again Cari, for fixing this.
Everything not hard coded, yes. But doing so voids your ability to play metaverse.
Right: To test, please zip the savegame and your raceconfig files, and send them to [email protected], not forgetting the subject title and description of what it's for, or the spam-stop-thing will eat it.
Full version is sometime next month, from what I've heard. The XML ability files were edited for 1.3 due to a missing loyalty option that, when fixed, caused the custom race to have an illegal bonus. It's not very likely to be that, but it IS an XML alteration, so it might be possible.
No multiplayer. It's nothing to do with the server, you have to write the game first. And Stardock have said that right now, it doesn't look worthwhile.
Planet killers: Possible, yet extremely unlikely. Planet creators: probably not happening.
And? The colours aren't tied exactly to the population effect, and 30% is when you're in trouble. It just doesn't mean it'll decrease. Also, his numbers are correct. The high level ones are, anyway. It's been a while since my morale got below 40 Try being less hung up on numbers. After a few decent games, it'll all be from intuition anyway.
"- our ethical alignment" must surely yield something LOWER than "neutral" IF "++ trading, + too busy to risk war, + our ethical alignment" is neutra Nope. Those values are just what will affect it if you do nothing at all. If you've been trading with the Drengin, it'll be nice and high. It's quite possible to get close with a race with 4 -s,
