The mass driver thing is your military. If you're much stronger than them, no tech for you. But giving them free mass driver to boost relationships, while I have the counter for nano rippers, is a lovely tactic. I NEVER trade diplomacy or influence techs. Those filthy Terrans are annoying enough, without the diplomacy boost.

it's the .xml file "ability bonuses". It lists two loyalty options "mostly loyal" with the bonus of 10 and "Devoted" with 20. Not much of a difference, but if it means there's that much of a chance I can keep my planets, I like it. The problem is it states available options as 1, disabling the second.

Really? My delivery in England took two days. Some people just make mistakes. If you were so annoyed, then a) complain to the delivery service (not stardock) and b)Just download it. And seriously, echoing statesman , well done for possibly offending the Christian demographic. And capitalising words yet not the letter "I".

I posted this a while back, but it didn't get bumped. So, the thing is, the 2nd loyalty option is missing. the loyalty in ability bonuses reads " 2 " The problem being the "1" in available options needs to be a 2. I seem to be the only one using a larger loyalty bonus, but is this a phasing out issue? (ie, terror stars in resolutions) Just wondering. It hasn't been noticed up to beta 3, will it be cut in 1.1?</f

Try it in windowed mode. I don't expect this to help, but it has occasionally. Also, US english can help. But, this is one weird crash. If they both fail, my usefulness is ended. Sorry.

They fixed the erase abilities bug? sweet! *goes and downloads beta 3* BUT, did they fix the loyalty issue? every patch I have to edit it in. (2 given options for loyalty, yet it wrongly lists options to be "1", so stuck with a loyalty of 10.

Did you run the windows driver update? it's a load of BS. It refused to update my ancient drivers, had to do it manually. Seeing as it's intel, you'll have to do a bit of googling. And get that memory looked at, it really is weird to have 504m

Speed doesn't matter for freighters. You get a set amount of cash for the route, speed doesn't matter. Constructors etc, doesnt make a differance, still only one use. But you can relaunch a colony with one person, yes

Cloaking was in the original galciv, and I doubt very much it'll ever return. Of course, if there was huge demand it might come back, but the demand for the AI to have the ability to come out behind you and trash you isn't hard. Disguises would be good, a sort of "q-boat" idea, but wouldn't work in practice (you can see a laser) Kamikazi ships=tactical combat. nooooo. NO orbital bombardment. It was there, but it's gone for go

Escorts are designed to be a deterrant. They won't escort if they can't see you, and if they can they'll use fairly weak ships designed to put you off using crappy fighters to wipe them out.

0 turns bug needs the ship to be re-purchased. It would be useful if you would post your computer's information, but I doubt that's it. oh, and Stardock is about 26 people don't forget. Or over two dozen anyway. Finally, for future posts, you need to bump it. If it doesn't work on re-purchase, crash the game (alt+tab, then force the game to close) and get a debug.err Incidentally, which version are you running? I recall seeing this bug somew

You can't. However, often they are merely using your territory as a shortcut to get to someone else. Low espionage tells you this. If it confirms they're going for you, get your fleet mobilised quickly

Only hurts reputation when you stab someone in the back. The best thing you can do is get nice and armed, send some armed scouts out, hold a trade embargo, and they will get the idea. They'll probably attack you first, aswell. But since when has war been diplomatic? Alright, napoleonic wars everyone lined up on the battlefield, got ready, then started fighting at the agreed time "Righto, that's a cannon going off, it's 11 o clock, may the s
