5. I think that you just need to build the starbase so it's zone of influence covers the route, and whenever the little baby freighter is in the part of the route that's within the ZOI, it gets the starbase bonuses. I think. 6. Destablization was taken out of the game, IIRC. Peace & Luv, Liz

Just research "Xeno Ethics" on the tech tree. Once you've gained the tech, you'll get a prompt to choose your alignment. You then can research "Good and Evil" to start opening up the alignment-based colony buildings and whatnot. Peace & Luv, Liz

Maathyas: Nah, ranking goes past 25. I'm something like number 78 right now. Did you create your character/empire recently? It takes a little while for changes to take effect. A couple more thoughts I had, regarding the Metaverse this time... 1. Have an option available where the game saves your username and password data even after you quit the game and come back, instead of having to retype it. 2. I'm not sure if I missed an already existing easier way to do this, but have it so you can load a saved game after you sign in. Currently I end up clicking all the way through, starting a new game, and then loading the saved game. Peace & L

I don't know if these qualify as "simple" or not, but two main tweaks I can think of off-hand: 1. Show auto-pilot trails in the main map, or some other way of indicating where your ships are going. 2. Oyyyy... I agree with this one... this game just sucks up hours like you wouldn't believe. But then, the first game was also quite addictive so I guess I'm not surprised. In my case, I'm lucky (or rather, my health level is lucky) that since I had to install the game on my roommate's computer (my own computer is too wimpy) I have to take breaks to, you know, let him use his computer. I don't have so much a problem, as a quirk I've noticed. I've played two Metaverse games so far, both as the Altarians. Yet my game data screen ( Link ) shows both as Arcean. Furthermore, my "medals" show as Human. A fairly minor thing (since all the rest of the data is correct and submitted fine), but a little odd nonetheless. Peace & Luv, Liz

I think my only nitpick so far is with the main map. I find it very, very confusing trying to keep track of what ships are going where compared to the way the GC1 map worked.
