Just so you know, heating bills are written into rent costs, so a price increase will affect you the next time you renew your lease. Well, they havn't adjusted the rent in almost two years, so I can't complain.

If your gas company is a public utility, then contact your city/town/villiage/whatever. If it's a company, then have fun trying to get them to lower it. It's thier company, and they should be allowed to charge whatever they want for their services. As for me, I can't really comment on gas price increases/decreases, since my utilities come bundled with my rent (I pay a flat rate, so if utilities go up then the managment takes a hit, if they go down they get a windfall), so I

I believe he was refering to 'Oz' the HBO prison series. (which is how I took it) Not the magical place where we go and see the Wizard... I don't know, if you squint a bit the Torians do sort of look like the cowardly lion. I guess it's just a matter of perspective, getting shanked in the shower leaves the Torian just as dead as bei

That would be pretty cool. It would cause problems with the race hulls, the issue of haveing differant size hulls for all of them would mean a big hull increase, and having to have a "defualt" hull style that the player starts with before they start researching. Buut it would be cool.

At lower levels, my favorite is how if you go massivly in debt (for example, if you decide to upgrade ALL of your ships at once), then your treasury will reset to a much lower amount (I think it's -2,000). At any level, I still enjoy lining up al my fleets around enemy planets, striking at once and utterly crippling a massive empire in a single turn (that I was just at peace with).

I preordered it, so I"ve had it for eight months now. I don't spend as much time as what I did, but I still put in a few hours a week. That will change with DA though.

Las Vegas can get upto 120% degrees without humidity. If you can imagine a human being in a microwave...Thats vegas. Wow, 120% degrees. That's a lot of percents. Mesa, AZ can beat you guys though. While we top out at 100% degrees, those degrees can total 125 in number, not counting humidity.

Ok, I've been to Bonifay. I used to live in Crestview (north of Fort Walton), Destin, and Callaway (an eastern suburb of panama city). You probably know where those are, but just in case, I figured I would explain.

Reno, Nevada, USA, we're NOT Vegas I heard Reno is so close to hell that you can see Sparks. I don't think the Sparks person who told that joke liked Reno, but I've never been there, so I can't say good or ill.

I'm guessing alliance victory is off, so you just ally with everyone, then declare war one at a time. A races allies won't attack you if you are already allied witht hem, so just lick them off one by one!

When ever the issue of using old structures comes up, I can't help but htink what a headache it would cause. To keep your srtuctures from auto upgrading, you would have to disable the govenor, whcih would mean that you then have to manually upgrade all of your structures. In light of this, I would say Industrial Centers are worth it. They may not be as efficiant, but it reduces the micro managment to just go ahead and get them.

I've had similar experiances, ever since 1.1 I can almost always communicate with the Thalens, even if they are on the other side of the galaxy, at the game start.

I have found myself several times where to go for a conquest victory would mean having to fight several allied races at once, which my economy (in those games) couldn't handle. So, I go for an influence victory or tech. Other times I get a bad placement on a map, so I ally with the strongest races, and get a diplo. If you want to be really technical there is only one result of the four, winning. But the game is about building the empire that you want to build, and the victory options
