I've got to agree with Frogboy on this one, the first thing I thought when I finished deciphering what he typed, was that most of his bugs are probably a result of his downloading a warez copy. The irony is amazing, it's like a car thief coming back to chew out the owner for having a smashed window and broken ignition. Graphics are great by the way, I love being able to zoom all the in on a ship I made, then zoom back out to see

It depends on economy also. The small ships can be cranked out in a turn or two with any economy, but a good capitol ship can take four or five even with a monster planet working on it. The fact is, if a fleet of caps get taken out, you had better e ready to spend a lot of money buying new ones, otherwise you likely won't have time to rebuild. But if you lose a fleet of 10-12 small fighters, you can rebuild it in a turn or two with out

I have a request... Would it be possible for you folks to whip up an out of game stand alone ship creater for us poor fools at work? I would love to be able to spend time building ships to use in my games without actually being in the game. What are the chances of this?? Call me old fasioned, but sh

That stinks. I was playing one game where the I-Leauge showed up, and since I was a neutral it didn't affect me. But the Yor and someone else (Iconian or Korx) both got hit after they had been driven back to one planet each. Since they only had one, whenit went their civilization went with it, suddeny there were two less people to worry about, and some bizzare conglamerate running about. Thinking of which (little of topic) that

Thanks for being calm, while I disagree, it's nice to not hear another shrill whiner. First, unless you played the original Gla Civ (back in teh early 90's), you can't really say that this game borrrows from MOO. Second, The bombing of planets has been explained, in MOO and MOO2 is was easy just to bomb you enemy into oblivion before they knew what hit them, war over. Third, exporting Sakkra was awesome, I miss it.

Yeah, there's nothing wrong with not liking a game. Even if most peope do likeit, some people just don't, and that's ok. But, the way he described things in the article makes me wonder how much time and attention was really put into this. I don't get how he couldn't figure out how to select the space station, even with stacked ships. The whole "grandma's buttons" thing makes me also wonder if he realized he can zoom and rotate the map.<

What ever Teancum, you bourgeois jerk! Why do you have to pick on people who just want answers? It' s becuase of people like you that problems aren't ever fixed. They just read your little post, and figure everyone hates them, so they don't speak up for fear of being shouted down! I hate you, and I hate the game your avater comes from!

Excellent planet! Although I saw one guy's PQ72 once... but it belonged to the Iconians I believe. Yep, that was me, and yep, it was the Iconians that owned it.

I"ve had that happen a couple times, where it used the earth backdrop on other planets. Congrats on finding it! With that in your arsenal, you had better win!

I liked the space dragon form Moo2, where again, you could pay him off to attack otehrs. Late game he was easy to take out. What would be cool is if you could do the same with the pirates, make them privateers and have them attack other races.
