Last week though I made the decision to leave WoW due to numerous reasons.
Thats one of the smartest decisions you can make. God, that game is such a grind fest. Its not even really all that fun at all.

First off, is it possible to create a fleet with a terror star? I don't know if this is designed or not. It would make sense to be able to create a fleet with a terror star since it makes escorting it easier. Anyway, the second I try to create a fleet with a terror star and another ship, I get a CTD. Below is my debugg.err file. Can anyone from Stardock let me know if this is a known issue? Thanks. Debug Message: Version
Lousy ungrateful bees. You give them a home, and even do a little housekeeping for them, and this is the thanks you get?
You do realize that a section of your visual cortex that lets you know what circles are versus what triangles are is probably more massive than an entire bee let alone the bee's wee little brain. I say we give them some slack for being stupid and ungrateful.

I think I need to update my drivers. I have a nvidia GE Force 7600 GS with 512 mb RAM. My driver is dated 6/29/2007 according to direct x diagnostic tool. I have never needed to update my drivers yet for galciv 2 or for SINS, but I guess I should go update them now and see if it fixes the problem... My OS is a pentium (not sure which one) 6400 @ 2.13 GHz (2 CPU) processor. I have over 2 GB of RAM.

Also, not that big a deal to me, but if I alt - tab to my desktop while TA is running, when I go to click back on the game, all I see is a black screen. After a short time, I get this microsoft error CTD where i can send in an error report. I know someone else reported that too.
No, we are not that more advanced than other countries right now as this study shows: The 2007 statistics show China with a technological standing of 82.8, compared to 76.1 for the United States, 66.8 for Germany and 66.0 for Japan. Just 11 years ago, China’s score was only 22.5. The United States peaked in 1999 with a score of 95.4. -http://www.gatech.edu/newsroom/release.html?id=1682We are really not that advanced anymore. Did you here about the incedent were China claimed they could "p
no...wait, here's something even dumber! wow... ...America will never die. If America dies, the entire world goes with us because of our nukes. Plain and simple.really unbelievable....... *sigh*
And your intelligent arugment why this isn't so? Tell me, how will America die? For us not to be a country anymore, we would have to be all killed enough where the few survivers essentially give up. I mean, crap, Europe was a war zone for centuries and we still
The thing is, if Brazil, Russia, India or China ceased to exist, the world will feel MUCH greater effects than if the US suddenly disappeared. If the US disappeared, people would rise up a heck of a lot of dust over the internet, but eventually(within 2 months), everything the US gives the world predominantly(mainly movies, music and... well, that's it), would be replaced with products from France and the UK. Whereas the BRIC lands are irreplaceable. Even with their problems taken into ac

We may eventually all grow weak in America and not be a super power. But America will never die. If America dies, the entire world goes with us because of our nukes. Plain and simple. Or, there is an asteroid impact that destroys the world, or some other event that would have to devestate our entire planet for America to die off completely.

The economy is the number one thing that needs to be fixed in my mind. That and ground combat animation. I am sorry but blinking flags don't count for better ground combat animation. We have awesome ship battles and we can design ships with parts that can rotate on 3 different axis at varied speeds which is beyond awesome and takes the customization of ships to new heights, yet we can't see insectoid thalins charging against power armored drengin shock troops? Blinking flags with machine gun

I heard that the reason most new computer games require the latest and greatest computer specs is because the market of people purchasing new computers (who in turn purchase the latest games to go with those computers) is greater than the market of those who stubbornly hold onto to their old computers for years. Money talks. If we all agreed to never, ever buy new computers, games would be made to work on our old computers. However, I think it is good that we continue to push th

It should be noted that gun powder weapons took some time to make castles and knights completely obsolete. When guns were first invented and used as firearms, they were practically more dangerous to the user than the victim (just the right composition, refinement, and amount of gunpowder to use not being perfected yet). Cross bows and long bows were cheaper, more accurate, more reliable, and often easier to load than the very first guns. Also, the only thing keeping castles and armo
This is a test to see how many unrealistic technologies that you can spot in galciv2, For example faster then light speed technology would be impossible in this universe.
Once again, assumptions, assumptions, assumptions. The trick to traveling faster than light might not be to actually travel faster than light in this universe, but to travel in another universe, or dimension (aka hyperspace) then pop out in our universe at a different point. Perhaps in hyper space, tra
Sorry, but when you base advances on what we currently have (Which your doing), and try to base that on the future, you PHAIL.Go back in time 100 years. How many would be like you on computers, cars, cell phones?Go back and tell them that metal that can compute advanced mathemtics would rule the world. How many would think your crazy and lock you up?
Bingo. I don't agree with this post either. Go back to even just 45 years before the first A bomb went off in 1945, and t
There also was a study a while back that if we take the recent advances in medicine and biology (gene-mapping and nano technology as well) that humans may become virtually immortal within the century.
Somehow, I have doubts about this. When the tech first comes out, of course, only the relatively rich will be able to afford the constant gene replenshing appointments, etc., etc. If someone opts to do this to try and live forever, a poor person might become
