WOW the origional poster is a noob an a idiot. What a chickelittle the sky is falling post. hahahaha Why is it when something is FUN others who don't play it or don't like it call it an Addiction? lol Addiction is something you are if you WANT to be. I used to smoke and I quit cold turkey just like that because I WANTED to. I didn't need any cigarest or patches or any support groups. I smoked for 35 years and just quit on my own because I WANTED to not because it was an ADDICTION. lol So
Thanks Cari, hope everyone at SD is feeling better. There was mention in another thread of this being the last expansion because you "weren't going to be able" to put out more expansions. Could anyone clarify why that is? I know *I*'d pay for one... I can't say for certain, but Brad probably meant that there's diminishing returns on making additional expansion packs, the amount of work it takes to make an expansion pack vs the number of people who will buy it. It's not really that w
The real question is: will Brad put up some notes on AI changes LATER? Thanks, I'm looking forward to giving this a shot!
Dang, the AI is already approaching Sky Net functionality.....

Do we have the ability to completely edit technologies? This is the part that I would kill for!!! For example, will we eventually be able to name a tech, determine the prereqs and techs after it, and say it gives you that does say 45 damage, and uses the built in doomray animation? And if we are not satisified, we can choose instead the built in laser animation?

He's probably surrounded by beautiful virgins looking at us missing him. He's probably LHAO thinking us "alive" folks are suckers and in Hell forced to live in a challenging world! Guess we will all find out won't we...........

For me, RPGs like good old Shining Force back in the day, Final Fantasy, turn based games like this one, etc. are funner than real time games. The thing about real time games is typically lack of depth in how you play. Most RTSes by necessity of design demand that you only do certain things and that you can't be expected to do too much. Usually when you play these games, you end up always doing the same thing. Build construction yard, build barracks, train riflemen, build vehicle yard, colle

Shielding against their megadeath cannons? Perhaps that is how they survive? Anyways, do you have any idea how hard is to move a giant moon sized base 1 parsec per week through hyperspace?

Belanos!! Long time no see, and yeah, original poster, you paid a premium to be first to use the product. Supply and Demand baby. No one is forcing you to buy anything. Also, I bet there are some wow-a-holics out there that would pay $4000 for wrath of the lich king. $90 is what? less than 3 tanks of gas with a cheap car these days? 4 trips to a resturaunt?

If people would stop pirating games, maybe companies could offer more post release support. Think about that, would be criminals, next time you raise your black Jolly Roger on the internet.

Ok, I was addicted to WOW. Then, suddenly, I became absoultely sick of it. I mean WOW really is boring. The game is just one giant grind fest. When I started playing it in late September of 2007, I countinously played it. It was the only thing I did in my spare time. In 5 months, I had logged 30 days played on a single character. 30 days. Basically in 5 months, I spent 20% of my total time playing WOW. This is while having a 9-10 hour a day job, so guess what I did during all my free ti

Damn pirates. Don't want to pay $50 for a game? Its too much? Christ, how do they feed themselves? $50 is what? 2 trips to a resturaunt? Your monthly cell phone bill? Don't even get me started on how far $50 gets you when your car breaks down. Hell, I drive a POS Pontiac vibe with excellent gas mileage AND PAY $30 EVERY TIME I NEED GAS.

27 for me. Not to brag for all of us, but I think this game attracts the intelligent. The maturity level of this forum is much, much higher than say the WOW general forums...

The maturity level of this forum is very impressive indeed. One trip to the WoW General Forum or reading break.com or youtube.com comments will cause you to lose faith in humanity. The SINS forum has a few trolls in in it, as I am sure this forum does as well, but all in all, these games must attract very mature and sensible audiences. Way to go Galciv2 and SINS fans!!!!!

Is there a campaign in this game? If not, are there plans to release campaigns? Loved how the opening scenes were done! Game looks great so far.
While I do not advocate the killing of the stupid I do have a thoery I call "The Evolution of Stupid." Basically thousands of years ago there were many more things that could kill a person and usually the stupid ones died first. Allowing the intelligent to breed and advance the species. However as our technology advanced humans no longer succumbed to as many causes. Eventually we started developing technology and laws that protect the stupid from themselves. Invariably one stupid finds an
