Kryo, can you find out if planatary invasion animation changes are in the works for the new expansion? If not, I am going to start a friendly petition to Stardock. I know we are all tired of the happy meal boxes and construction vehicles going to war alongisde the atari soldiers. If Stardock can implement the changes it did to the main screen graphics and have awesome looking ship combat, then I know planetary invasions can be changed.

I never did understand this, but why is it when I private message someone you have to re-type in a validation code in random letters and numbers that they give you where it is very hard to make out the letters?? Is this so drunk people or people with visual disorders don't post???

I really dont like the Solar System destroyers. Please tell me there will be some sort of balance factor. They will probably be incredibly expensive, require enough tech where you could have practically won a tech victory, they will only be able to move one space a turn, they will have a charge up time, etc. In fact, trying to win by building terror stars will probably be really, really stupid if you want to finish a game in less than 10 game y

You guys miss my point with the atoms. We had no idea atoms existed until technology enabled us to see atoms. God could be 100% real in this universe. We just need the technology!!! Which god are we talking about? Zeus, Sheba, Allah, Christian god, or any number of gods that have been invented throughout mans history. Every religion thinks they are right yet can they all be right? And if not then who is right and who is

1. there must be no genetic stock which is capable of producing insulin on it's own (as long as there is breeding stock capable of this then the trait will survive bingo. A perfect counter to your argument Mystikmind that the body will weed out normal insulin genes because they are no longer "needed" with medical science. People with normal insulin producing genes are having sex and having children right? In fact, for every diabetic having s

Stanley Tarrant You need to expand from small scale thinking in order to follow what i am saying. What????? I am thinking in terms of us as an entire species. See, you think that evolution is based on need. You think humans needed to be fast to escape predators thus, we as individuals evolved to be fast. Evolution has nothing to do with individuals magicaly changing or evolving to be fast. Evolution is really only applicable to an ent

Sounds good but... If this is just a "more everything" (with exception unique techs) i don't know if it's worth buying. Especially when price's bit high for the ex-pak. Game prices are ridiclous these days though Costly???? You buy a $50 game and if it is good, it can last you years. I don't think there is anything else as fun and addicting that could last you a year on $50. Crap, $50 is like maybe 2 weeks of driving my car. (that gets 36 miles

Couple questions (Kyro?): Can we opt to get a box shipped with a paper game manual this time if we pre-order and desire digital download? I would be willing to pay extra shipping costs to have the box and a paper manual. I imagine Terror Stars will be unGodly expensive and at the very end of the tech tree! Is there anyway you guys can post a movie of what the star blowing up animation will look like? Will the resulting debree be asteroid belts you can mine?? Also, will plan

Hm.... $29 for SP that requires to buy another SP first ... I probably will buy anyway (so far I have it all since GC1) but Stardoc becoming greedy ... Stardock becomming greedy?? I have been playing computer games since I was a wee lad for well over 10 years, and I have never seen as much dedication to a game following its release (giving you those updates for free). Case in point. I love the recent game Supreme Commander, but the cu

Has it ever occured to anyone here that our technology is a natural part of our evolution? I mean lets think about it. We adapt to our envirment by changing it. Early man discovered how to make weapons, make cloths, create fire etc. All this changes the enviroment in which we live to ensure our survival. Technology comes from our brains which in turn has evolved from a more primitive version of humans. So I don't think that Technology will 'devolve' us. In fa

My question is why? I mean if we can become pure engergy.. how would we, um kiss dah girl friend, drive a fast car on a curvy road, cook the best ribs or play computer games? And really who wants to live for ever? Duh Ahh but we do. Your spirit lives on. So get used to living forever. Anyway, you are assumming that kissing girls and driving sports cars is the ultimate pleasure, the ultimate thing for your soul to indulge in......

The third world war will be fought with tanks and nukes. The fourth will be fought with stones and clubs. nahhhh. The fourth will be fought with spears and semi-automatic weapons. Think the game Fallout. Some high technology will remain, but many will resort to low tech means like spears and stones. It would be much easier to pick up a lead pipe and beat people with it than trying to locate a functional M-16 after the the major cities are radioa

Ok I will try and explain better, Everything about a living organism needs to have a reason to be in place. As mentioned, insulin is produced by our bodies and is required to process sugars in the blood that is it’s ‘reason’ for existing. If medical science can produce insulin for us then that takes away the reason for our bodies to produce it naturally. A simple analogy - I will use the analogy of physical fitness to help explain. An athletic person

I would like to say like everyone that I am impressed. I know this will be a top of the line product because it is from Stardock. I will pre-order soon. Just one request though: please for the love of God do something about ground combat animation. I am very impressed with the new graphics, the ship battles, etc., but can we have more than atari soldiers, crane tanks, and happy meal shaped mega tanks? Is it too much to ask that ground combat animation be brought up to at least MOO2 stan

I don't know why, but Final Fantasys were never meant to be movies. I thought Advent Children was just awful. I would love a StarCraft movie. "Its a Zergling Lester, smaller type of Zerg" "I love you Sarge" "Thank God for Cold-Fusion!" You guys know a WarCraft movie is in the works? Also, South park season 10 is out. I finally got to see the famous South Park World of Warcraft episode.
