Here are my opinions PS3 +Is a blueray player which happens to be cheaper than a blueray player +Unique architecture +Um.... I guess the motion sensing controllers +Is cheaper than buying a PC of the same quality, don't tell me that they're losing $300 on hardware per console needlessly because I know you're lying +backwards compatibility +Uses a browser to surf the net, Opera as I recall -backwards compatibility problems that were never supposed to exist<br

Wait a minute, I didn't notice this before, but is that little logo on the side of the station the empire logo of the player? Thats a nice touch... can we do that with ships too? Yep

Well holy crap that seems pretty overpowering then. Thanks for the info. All the super abilities are overpowering when used strategically

On the plus side, any race can build a military starbase and equip it with a warp disruptor to achieve a similar (but not super) effect. So, although you might have to spend a bit of money, you can slow your opponent down to a crawl if he's planning a counterstrike. Does the Super ability and the starbase effects stack, possibly reducing you to a

I would like the required research points for the plague mega event be calculated in relation to the average research potential of all the AI players, or possibly calculated some other way that depends on the research potential of the players. What I mean is that if you are researching at an average level for your game it should take you approx. X turns to research the cure. In another game where everyone had a much research level it would still take approx. X turns. That way

It's a reference to him using a different account to troll carriers, MP, and tac combat, then flaming people, then blaming his brother. Try reading the post next time. But what I fail to understand is why you're bringing up another totally irrelevent post and discussing it here.

Get your "brother" off the comp. Although that's true, some of them have been playing the DA alpha now. And btw, just because you want all that crap, doesn't mean the developers do, hence it not happening What are you talking about? It's a beta and I don't really see him demanding a whole lot of crap. Then again I haven't browsed al

Personally I like the idea of the epic generator, practically though I don't see it being used too much. Personally I would never read a story someone had produced using the epic generator and would only look at my own for simple amusement.

Actually black holes do grow as more stuff goes into it, the radius of the event horizon does anyway and so does it's gravity. The problem is that you could throw a whole solar system into one and notice very little if any change in size.

For those of you who have not reveived the email go into stardock central -- Go into Tools -> lookup serial number I found that even though I did not receive an email stating my serial number the email that the looking up the serial number option sends will include it, well it did for me anyway. Ooops lol, I just noticed that this was posted above.

I apologize if I came off a little rude, but personally except for the rare exception I don't think any celebrity's death is anymore important than any other joes. And if we posted in here about every death that we've heard about over the news well the forum would grind to a halt. This is not the appropriate forum to mention for instance the fact my grandfather may be on his deathbed, or that some bum in vancouver just froze to death sleeping in an alley. Yes the coaching may be differe

Who's death? Personally I could care less that some sports coach no matter how successful or celebrated died. His death was no more or less important than the other countless deaths that happened around the world.

Personally I love it, and after a bit of playing with it everything just seems to flow for me. Why do people always want to use a keyboard and mouse? I know that technically you can be far more accurate with that setup than the typical two joysticks (which is why I believe they do not want to support both) most controllers seem to use but in the end (for me anyway) its nothing more than learning a new controller style - granted I started out on consoles (snes) so when I say learning a

I dunno what you guys are saying about that its far to expensive, most games that come out nowadays are $50 minimum, why 360 games are $70 on average. Sure you need to pay it all up front instead of only $5 but we do get to have a say in how the game works so for me anyway it's a nice trade off. Besides I had 5 tokens laying around that I had no idea what to do with...

Why do you people like Freelancer so much? I recently bought it and all it had going for it was the free-roaming aspect, the space combat. Did reputations with NPC groups even matter? It never seemed to do anything for me. I also hated that there only seemed to be 4-5 ship designs per area and once you went into a new area your ship was vastly underpowered.

Will there be a seperate option to choose how many minor races there are, or is their number still determined by some relationship between number of major civilizations and map size? I love the little buggers but I hate having to lower the number of real opponents to get them to come out.

How is the pre-order -> beta invitation thing working? Is it coming in waves, do you get a beta key when you pre-order, or what? I've already pre-ordered but I know some people are going to be wondering.
