Must be nice to have that much money to waste on cooking food on your XBox 360. Man that puts a whole new spin on "idle hands are the devils playground!" LOL It was in the three red lights of death mode so unless he had a warranty it was a pile of garbage anyway.

The only thing that keeps me upgrading my PC is MMO's, MMORPG's in particular. When they finally make it onto a console I think I may stop ugrading my PC altogether.

What strategies do you guys use? Right off the bat I tend to run to the closest dominator battle and just watch either collecting nodes or other goodies they drop. I'm playing on normal so I need to reload the game usually about 2-3 times to make sure I either don't die or that the 'good' side wins. A cheese tactic I know, but they drop some low space requirement items which are really useful at the beginning - such as my 1200 range radar that takes up 18 slots. After that I've bee

Hmmm not that I know of, becuase when I purchased the game all I got was a serial number which I added to stardock central which enabled me to access the full game. Possibly stardock could send you an archived version of the game or provide you with a link to download an archived version.

Will a comparison of the sales between the DRM and the non-DRM version ever be available for public reading? I for one would be really intereasted to know the success of the game both before and after they started selling on stardock. If the results are positive it may go a long way to convincing other developers that DRM solutions only hurt them. Btw, having a blast playing Space Rangers 2!!

In turn based games such as this I don't really care about MP and could really care less about it. As for the OP's sentiments, I whole heartedly agree. I haven't actually played a Galciv2 game for more than 20m in months because it's just the same thing over and over. Here's hoping DA fixes some of the repetiveness.

I know many people enjoy making full models of ships for GalCiv2, but how many people have considered making some jewelry pieces? Personally as a player while it’s nice to see new ship models I get much more use out of the jewelry pieces when designing ships, though that does include using hulls as jewelry via Kyro’s hull mod. Is it even possible to make jewelry?

Though I bet in a few years if there a some really hardcore fans the game would be recompiled. Thought it would definetly help things if they removed as much hard coded things as possible. Making a Modders job easier is always a plus for longevity.

I recommend you get the demo for Space Rangers 2. Keep in mind though that there is a built in turn limit that does not reset when you start a game over. In fact I duly recommend buying 10 tokens, 2 for Space Rangers, 3 for the pre-order of dark avatar (you'll get access to the beta which I hear will be like what the expansion was intended to be before they added more stuff) and then 5 more tokens to spend as you like. It's a 4100 value for $70.

Already did it, thanks for the help! In the future though you might want to look about adding a message in there about this because I know I'm not the only one that uses one email for bussiness and one email for pleasure.

Oooo. A year ago I had no idea who you guys were and now I'm avidly following your games. I've never visited a videogame companies website this much, well unless you count WoW. Can't wait for it!

Ah, thank you for the info. So am I correct in that I just need to email support to do this? What information should I provide - to eliminate any delays lol.

Yes I had heard that's how they're doing the pre-orders, which is why I want to use tokens Hmmm I bought tokens last night and it's still not showing up as me actually having tokens. Is that normal? Ok here’s what happened in a more understandable format 1)I login with my stardock store info which contains a different email than my GalCiv2/TG Net account because it is a stor

They should be available immediately? I used a credit card, and it's the wee hours of a sunday morning and I'm not entirely sure at all how credit card billing works seeing as this is my first use of it ever. I did just recently purchase 10 tokens, and I'm in a bit of confusion about the whole thing. Which is all probably caused by the fact it is the wee hours of a sunday morning. Heck I'm going to paste my email to customer support and maybe it'll get answered here sooner.<b

If it's the disks register the serial number and download it through Stardock central. I'm not a computer wiz by anyone's standards so I can't make heads or tails of debug files, did you uninstall the driver's before you installed the new ones? That's the only thing I can think of that you didn't mention and I'm not sure if it would effect anything. Good luck with getting it to work, it'll be well worth it!
