I attempted to move two peasants and one pioneer in a group along a road and E:WoM crashed. Debug.err: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8971392/debug.err Zipfile: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8971392/Elemental0_98-2010-07-31T12-48-39-940.zip dxdiag.txt: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8971392/D
[quote who="John_Hughes" reply="29" id="2698101"]And if the off shore waters of Elemental does not contain smelly Bearded Clams, then we shall search inland for some succulent Beaver Tail.... [/quote] Indeed. Though fear the one eyed trouser snakes! They worm their way in.
A developer created monster/civ/spell creator and a server where we can upload the ones we create and download random sets of these for games.
I believe that there are techs that are rare and you will not see in every game regardles of how much you put into research. As well the chance of some techs appearing each time you research goes down with the higher level techs. So acquiring them isn't so easy and does take a few attempts.
I asked about this and if memory serves it will be changed/fixed.
[quote who="GW Swicord" reply="12" id="2692670"]Follow up with some Dead Can Dance tracks without lyrics. It won't get you back to the testosterone tones of the Conan soundtrack, but they'll definitely encourage an Elemental frame of mind. [/quote] I'd also suggest love spirals downwards and most cowboy junkies songs/covers of songs.
[quote who="bonscott" reply="3" id="2692024"]Two choices really. Intel Core i5/i7/i9 or a Quad/Six core AMD. Best video card you can afford (assuming it's a gaming rig). I assumed that WidowPC was a company so I found their web site. As I figured, waaaaay overpriced for what you get. Much cheaper to build yourself and get much better parts. $1050 for an i3-540 with only a 320 GB hard drive? Please. I spent just over half that

Off Topic: That's easily one of the HOTTEST Avatars I've ever seen. [/quote] You should check out the show its from, Skins. Their portrayel of two teenage girls in bristol falling in love is fucking brilliant. Though its season 3-4(4 not so much). Season 1+2

[quote who="Island Dog" reply="1" id="2691862"]I assume you are wanting to build? [/quote] Well i'm probably going to have widowpc build it and so forth, but they will build to your speccs if you want and they have a lot of options so I'm very overwhelmed.
I'm planning on buying a new computer. Everything new except speakers(maybe new subwoofer). Looking online using google hasn't been that helpful. Sites seem to be out of date by at least a year. I'm going to go with WidowPC, but as for deciding on a processor, mother board, graphics card, etc. i'm at a loss. Tom's hardware is some help, but its only one website. Does anyone have suggestions on sites that offer up to date rankings of various hardware and any personal opinions?
I conquered Magnar III's city. He was standing outside it the following turn. So I selected everyone in the city using CTRL-left click and attacked him. Each individual unit went through their attack animation and brought up a defeat window after each animation. Though I did not recieve extra gold or exp. I assume if you select everyone like that and attack they should all be going at the same time like they do when just moving out of a city and thus only one animation, sovereign?, shou
[quote who="Sareln" reply="2" id="2690718"] Quoting TheBirthdayParty, reply 1 That's a good idea. Something that would make champions a lot more useful also would be to give them spell casting capability. Right now they're just a slight bonus i drag around with me to get them experience. All spellcasting is supposed to come from the sovereign (channeler). There are systems in place where sovereigns should be able to imbue their champions

Not sure necissarily the first suggestions, but definately agree about wild animals entering a city wreaking havoc yet not destroying the city.
I came across a character I wanted to hire. I did not have enough gold at the time, they required 64gp. So I followed them around until I had 65. However, without any obvious reason, their price went up to 160. Is this intended? If so why? This was about 8 turns of following her around. She did not fight anything or go over any goodie huts. debug.err: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8971392/debug7.err
Also here's the image of the error code:
Tried with explorer and firefox, but gave same error code. I check the kb size of the file and the pixel dimensions. Both fit the requirements. Tried two other .jpgs, no luck.
I haven't been able to successfully play far enough to find this out. There are blunt weapons and other weapons. Does the game factor in a difference? Are spears/pikes better against cavalry then sword and shield? Do maces do more damage than a sword vs. plate? etc.
Well damn, then we need a Mr. El Guapo in this game too! or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ioKto0di3EA&feature=related
So I defeated a sovereign. Down to 1 hp. He wouldn't become defeated after that. Just retreated off the tactical map. Then I went and defeated him in his only city. However he would not disappear. So I moved out and defeated him again. And now there's a graphic of him falling over and dying at the city over and over. Won't go away. I signed a non-agression with him after all this. I can't move my army directly onto his spot even though its the city center(the one I took from him). I can move
I was started on an island. Picked up an escort quest(didn't know I was on a small island at the time). Where I was supposed to escort the person to was not on the island/visible on the map. This was the very begining, so no ships to use. I'd just restart and try a new game, but figured i'd mention it. debug.err: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8971392/debug5.err Savegame:<a href="http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8971392/questsave.EleSav"

Click on the actual resource itself. There should be a wooden hammer in the bottom left of the screen. Click on that. If its greyed out a tooltip should appear explaining why you can not build on the resource.
