Yeah, we lost that one, horribly. There was simply no way we could have even thought about winning it. Other than that, I'm pretty impressed with the 0-day balance versus the Betas. I know the dev's are smart enough to take forum posts like these with a grain of salt, especially after 2.5 days of a game being released. As time goes by though, we will begin to see what strategies are more effective and less effective. I'm very certain upgraded minion spam is an effective mid/late game strategy. I'm also very bound to putting in som
Started seeing people using this in games now and its ruining games and considering the difficulty of getting into them it would be nice to get this sorted. Seeing Sedna running around with 20 minions makes her untouchable, before the naysayers tell me to AE them as its not cost effective blah blah, its kinda hard if you CANT ae and there is no chance you can get near her (or any other general) before you are dead. Also, there doesn't seem to be any way to prevent the other team from gaining the money needed to upgrade their Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 citadel...which pretty much negates every upgrade you buy on your own. It seems every game follows the same path, and you can tell in the first 10 minutes which s
I didn’t realize you could buy things other than potions from the shops until literally 4 or 5th skirmish. I still feel like I’m missing things. Really the tabs on the left hand side need to glow/be highlighted subtly to draw players eyes to them.

If you make them give XP/Gold GENERALS will be utterly useless at start of the game as a "general". Minions 1+2 and maybe 3 would be just xp/gold food for enemy.... If they give xp/gold Ill be not using a general as it should be since it would be very wasteful knowing my army that can be slaughtered in seconds or killed by a rook smash just fed him a
Since 1.9 or whatever (the 0 day patch) are the generals as strong as the As? Yes, I believe so. We'll have to wait and see a bit but a couple of games I've played recently make me think 1. Generals do less damage individually but have much higher survivability - with a full complement of minions they are more powerful than Assassins 2. In high level team games you want at least one General on

So now for your solution to work you'd have to take a screen shot for every single skill selection... yeah not very helpful, time consuming and just a pain. Again, it would be great to have a

I'll have 5 QoT's sitting at the fountain throwing 10 minions at a time at you, mulching 5 every 7 seconds to deal 3750 damage to an AOE every 7 seconds to boot. The whole concept that is in question here is the absolute lack of consequence for martyr armies, not how to counter a guy who is behind a wall of minions or si
Quoting Ke5trel, reply 11 @ HR - Generals used to be weaker than Assassins. In the release version Generals are stronger, imo. An Erebus/Oak combo can beat a good UB/Reg combo - I've seen it happen. And they get an unlimited supply of powerful units. Keep the units powerful, but limit the supply. Well it is a 25 second cooldown
To me the simplest thing would be increase t
Yup, the bug of not using your ability after clicking it is game wide. I was playing Erebus and tried to bite someone. It was on the edge of his "in range" and typically he just does not respond and stops attacking and or moving (really REALLY fustrating). Then if you click to move or attack, it sort of wakes him up. Click bite again and it usually goes off. This sucks big TIME when you're low on health and really need bite's health bonus...</p
Is there a place to find a skills tree for the DGs? They dont seem to be in the manual and the search takes me to a google site with completely irrelevant links.
I'll give you a bit more background about what happened. I was playing a game as Sedna. I had Yeti's maxed out and morale maxed out, with the +HP/sec aura and the active heal skill. The basic plan was this. If there is an enemy nearby, send 4 yeti's + 2 minos + 2 archers + 2 bishops at enemy. If enemy advanced towards me, I run away. If enemy engaged minions, minions kill enemy.
Generals are weaker this is part of balance of power I think it should be the way it is. It would be too much of an advantage to an assassin if you changed it
/Agreed You want to get rid of the Yeti's? Find Sedna and kill her (they fade away if you do). Your whole complaint is what makes Generals good/diffrent than Assassins and I personally don't want to see them merged. -Jara

As a consumer all I really want is forthright honesty and a basic modicum of non-pretentious respect. Stardock is kindly providing both. I was quite upset at the moment but you people have been delightfully cruel. Still, watching people galvanize over the campaign/no campaign issue has raised some interesting thoughts. Are we, as PC gamers, looking for a world simply devoid of any and all single player activity in exchange for more multiplayer content? Should we be trying to strike a b

Other games use this system and people just learn to live with it. 2) There should be some connection speed/stability monito

I agree. One of my fustrations with playing QoT was that it was often times hard to select a minion to mulch with large characters in the way (Rook).
