I am a bit confused with the Cultural Progression/Ideologies points and some anomalies/events. Occasionally there is an event (colonizing a planet, surveying an anomaly, etc.) that states you get "X" amount in "Traditionalism" or other ideologies. However I haven't noticed these points being applied. Am I missing how these are accounted for (or just plain not understanding it)?

I had that happen right after a "wormhole" survey. The ship moved to the other side of the map and all ship movement stopped. I could still access the planet screen and move the map around so not a complete lockup. Closing the game and reloading the last auto save worked.

I hardly ever watch the battle viewer. It feels like a waste of time to watch a battle that has already been resolved, and which the player has not influence over. If we could give general commands (close range, hold range steady, retreat, etc) then it would be worthwhile to have, otherwise it's simply an engage fleets, check results, continue with turn.

We had our first cruise scheduled back in July get cancelled. Since we had nonrefundable plane tickets to Miami we decided to go anyway (middle of the peak) and stayed just outside of Orlando. Had a good time unwinding. Even with our "reckless" behavior we still haven't got the crud. We're to the point we'd like to get it, get over it, and get on with our lives. It would also help establish herd immunity.

Thank You Gauntlet!! I've been looking forward to a new GRM release that I could start playing GC3 again. I've tried to play without the mod and it just seemed bland. Now to download it! Again, thanks for all the work you have put into this. I have an inkling of the effort, time, and creative genius that it takes to do something like this (I lack all three).

I was pleasantly not disappointed with Solo. Not the greatest movie, but a lot better than 7, 8, & even Rouge One. I too am more of a fan of Star Trek, however the "re-imaging" of Star Trek II has pretty much killed my interest (never bothered to see the last one. The premier of Discovery further killed it.

I've noticed there's something about galaxy shape, frequency of stars, and frequency of planets (habitable and otherwise). That some settings throw out gobs of habitable planets, and a slightly changed variable yields very few habitable planets. I've noticed this both playing "vanilla" and with GRM. I haven't done any statistical analysis on the various settings.
