Does it make the UB overpowered? Hardly First of all Im not really saying the UB himself is OP. He isnt, and thats why early-mid game he is fine. Its just the fact that he cant stack so much Armour items and more then any ther Demigod because he doesnt need any mana to deal out very high DPS. I figured I'd open discussion up to thoughts on the maps. I love playing on Leviathan. It seems to be well balanced with enough open space to move around in while still giving you lanes to control. Plus you get the ability to capture portals and send 50% more creeps at your enemy. Nothing else seems to be close. I like Cataract a lot but the map really lends itself to being dominated by Regulus. Really any map that isn't physically large suffers this fate. If he's not in the game this
Quoting ChromeWeasel, reply 17 The reason you see a lot of Unclean Beast is because he's the easiest Dark side demigod to learn. Torchbearer is much harder since he's dual form and fairly fragile.Queen of Thorns is also dual form and has trouble killing other demigods. Erebus is probably the next easiest Dark side god and he's a general with all kinds of considerations. By comparison Unclean Beast is e
I have seen late game UB a lot. Early-Mid its fine, but when you reach the stage of people going around and caplocking portals I think it really becomes clear that UB is just the super-power (of late game). I wouldnt mind this if UB was a weak early-mid game hero but he is not, and I dont think he should be the strongest late game. Please remember this is just an opinion and from my experience UB ALWAYS dominates late game. I could easily be wrong and I absolu

A few general thoughts - A team of Generals will beat a team of Regs, if teams have equal skill. On larger maps in 4v4 or more it's not a disadvantage to have more than one Reg, but bad to have more than two. In skilled games Snipe Regs are more useful, as Chrome Weasel p
So I was playing as Oak, as usual, and went to kill UB using Shield and Pentinence while backed up by my Spirits and other fodder. The battle went downhill fast when I noticed he is gaining HP while hitting me even though I'm invulnerable. Oak went down, then got back up from Last Stand and started laying into UB, but UB STILL ate Oak's lunch. What the hell? Life Steal should not work if you are not damaging the target to ta

You will also push, killing their towers, etc. Take UB and Sedna for example
Also keep in mind that a Regulus in close combat doesn't contribute much sniping power in that special point. To do that huge burst you need multiple Regs as far away from the enemy as possible. If they hide behind towers let them, farm their creeps, let your creeps die against their towers, cap all the flags you can reach. Also, I would like to see how two Regs hold a lane early to mid game, against lets say a UB and S
From personal experience, 3 Regs get wiped in a 3v3 if they concentrate on snipe. I played another one of these and took the favor item that gives 1K HP every 45 seconds to everyone within a certain radius. The game wasn't even contested because they couldnt hold a single flag. And they didn't get much cash because they had to camp at the towers.
Something doesnt add up in your story. The Regulus players
What all you "nerf snipe" shouters are basically saying that by stacking Regs a coordinated team can own a non-coordinated one. Big news, a coordinated team will always win over randoms. Also, you make it sound like reg can just do everything at once, kite you, snipe you, lay mines, everything of course immediately in the early game. I don't see any problems for a coordinated team with the proper setup beating triple Reg, because there i

If you retreat he will restart to harras you, lowering your hp, forcing you to retreat to cristal to avoid multiple snipe ki
That's awesome. I was teaching my friend to play last night. I told him that the point of the game wasn't to kill every demigod you see. He was surprised. I said the goal should be to dominate your lanes so you can level up, farm gold, and control flags. Kills are nice but don't win the game for you. Controlling the map should do that, but you have to spend your gold right. This game has a lot more long term strategy than you'd think. I love the way the economy works and

The actual problem is that everyone besides the rage quitter (especially the opposing team) gets punished when they do it. Get the AI's out of there and give the winners the victory popup. Why they were added in the first place (especially in competitive play) is beyond me.
The AI is a great idea when a crappy player di
You want Lifesteal for that. Equip the following items: Bloodstone Ring (+400 Health +3% Lifesteal) Narmoth's Ring (+20 Health/Sec +750 Health +8% Lifesteal) Orb of Defiance (+500 Health +500 Mana use for 5 second of invulnerability) Many artifacts are also good. Mage Slayer is a less expensive Lifesteal artifact. Girdle of Giants gives +1600 Health, and Bulwark of Ages reduces all damage by 25%.

It seems like the people who actually have encountered this and arent theorycrafting are all saying "Yeah, this is easy to beat".

I don't think they can one shot, only cull weak players, and I don't think an occasional kill (which they will get more of if they are good, definately) and the occasional making someone run back to base/use a healing potion are going to give them the stopping power against a team that is built to counter them. The snipe itself takes 2 or three seconds to go off. If you see a regulus preparing to snipe you, or you are low on health in general, use a healing potion. This really isn't that diffi

Since the spike team need all their players together to get the kills, they can't compete with such a tactic. It would seem to me (having never played Demigod) that Demigod is designed ver
