[e digicons]x_x[/e] thread! People have unbelievably unrealisitc expectations of AI. I am yet to find a game forum where this sort of thread doesn't exist. The Sins AI is not at all bad compared to some, and is better since the OP (which was OVER A YEAR AGO if you check the date).

There is a jump between normal and hard. I find that hard generally needs more strategy than just throwing ships at the AI. I can beat hard using Entrenchment but I often struggled on vanilla (probably due to game style). Whatever you do, remember that 'unfair' is called that for a reason. It was a product of the betas (top players wanted a real challenge), and the ai gets major in-game bonuses.

What exactly is your problem? You're not going to get any help/sympathy if you don't explain what your gripes are.
Strike craft can wipe out a mine in one volley, and they can't be harmed by them. I just micro my scouts through the minefield and let the bombers and fighters do the rest. Best tactic I find is to jump in with scouts and maybe a cap (so it won't be destroyed) to take out mines at the jump in point, and then send carriers to do the rest (along with the rest of my fleet to keep theirs busy in the meantime.

Sounds like a computer problem to me. The server issues (which are Gamestop's fault by the way) shouldn't affect SP.

That's quite an old Graphics card in PC terms. It may be that NVidia didn't check compatibility very well with old cards for their new drivers.
