Its possible. The devs did seem to be very busy before release.
Namely, at least one (if not more) tech has as its description "TODO: This is a new tech for Twilight of the Arnor", and a few of the techs seem to be little more than what is found in the brief technology summary.
Could you point out those techs?
There also seem to be a few improvements that seem odd (the current Altarian Temple seems to be called the Drathian Temple)...
Lets see if I understand what you are asking. Are you asking if someone has been able to make a starbase that boosts the morale of all planets within its area of influence? If thats what you are asking, then I don't believe that its possible at this time. That would require a starbase ability that I don't believe exists at this time. Go check the starbase modules and check what exists for abilities and effects. If its not there, then it probally doesn't exist. I for one would l

Are you talking about the 'Starbase repair kit'? Its the one that repairs the starbase itself. If so, you need the tech 'Advanced Hulls Construction' and you need a spare constructor to repair the starbase. You need to send the constructor to the starbase in question as though you were going to 'upgrade' it. However, I believe that there is a bug that prevents you form repairing if the starbase in question already has all other starbase modules installed. I plan to send in a bu

As stated above, the Yor can't spam economic buildings. They only get 2 buildings that provide an economic bonus, their efficiency centers, and recuiting centers. The efficiency techs provide an equal economic bonus to what you could get best type of government combined with the bonuses for researching the economic techs (+45% economics total). This places a big enough handicap on their economy that, if you are playing the Yor, you may wish to consider leaving your planets with unused t
I invite you all to help improving the I-Mod Wiki!
I might have some time to work on the wiki. The two projects I'm working on right now is: A) To try to see what I can break in terms of modding (to see what works... and what to complain about). B) To create a custom civ of the same quality as the other 12 default civs. I might be able to write something about both. By the way, to get started, do I need to be an I-Mod member to write to the wiki?

You're kidding me right? I've fought Dread Lords since DL first release, and I know that they are actually push overs if you know how to deal with them. They tend to show up with numbers too few to be a long term threat... unless they are left alone long enough to gain numbers. If you attack them with a good mix of weapons, logistics, and some defenses, you can realibly destroy their ships. Assuming you can replace your ships faster than they can, the Dread Lords should run out of ships
Is there any info I should be looking at to know what a planet will excel at?
While at the colony management screen, you can press the 'details' button (near the 'turn' button) to get more information about the planet. Bonuses from starbases, bonuses from asteroids, and planet bonuses can all be found here. Please note the planet bonuses tend to be a mix of both the inate planet bonuses (including ethical events) and bonuses from strutures.
I'm sure that Brad will be posting as he makes his changes since he likes to do that, but I'll mention it to him.
Thanks. He has already posted a new one. I'm reading the newest after I post this reply.
I've been having a lot of problems with minimizing the game and then it crashing when I try to return...anyone else had that problem? Chances of it being looked at...?
I've ran into that problem as well. I've been forgeting to report it in.

Hey, hey, hey. Calm down. No need to get into a fight with those who don't any better. Becoming a troll isn't going to solve any problems. If anything, making a flame post on their site is going to convince them that not only does galciv 2 AI sucks, but that its also played by immature kids, and that the AI was made to entertain such kids.

Bump I would like to know if this e-mail is authentic. If not, I want to warn the community in advance that this e-mail exists. Could ScottT and Cari look at this post, since they are on the from and cc of the e-mail? If anyone at stardock needs this e-mail, I can forward it. ________________ By the way, whats the deal with creating new post anyways. Its like we are working with 2 different systems when creating a new post and a new reply. Plus quotes do

I got an e-mail that I'm suspecious of. I'm posting here to ask about its authenticity.
Greetings --name removed--, We're wrapping up Twilight for next weeks release, and I just wanted to extend an invitation to our ultra-private, members only, super-exclusive 'Gamma Testing' club!!! I'm pretty happy with how everything feels, but would like some extra help getting the final version as polished as possible. You'd have full acce
+ FIXED: Added Plague Cure and Disease Cure to the Yor's tech tree, and set them as starting techs in the race config. The techs are also set as non-tradable and non-stealable and have robot-race specific displaynames and descriptions (ie. they are called "Antivirus Software" and "Firewalls"). This will prevent the Yor from spending money on researching the techs and allows us to removed the hard-coded check that previously checked to see if the race was the Yor in the code that referen

Because I was playing on a smaller map, and trying to win an ascension victory, the game went by very quickly. I didn't need to save and come back later to beat the game, so I only wrote one play period. Play Period ---------------- Event 01 I started near the edge of the map, with 2 sectors with stars nearby. One was in the corner, and the other was at another edge. Once I determined the range of my influence (and determined the cultural pressure pushing against i

I decided to write an AAR to demonstrate how difficult it is to manage the Yor's economy as is. Things didn't go as planed. As I have been doing since ascension victory was added to the betas, I would test to see if it was working since it wasn't working when it was first released. Suffice to say, I was too busy fighting the Drengin, and later the Korath to pay much attention to what I was doing economically to show you guys. As such, anything that I mention about my economy is more of an aft

Come on. Your desktop isn't that bad. Mine is ussually worse by far. When I say ussually, I mean that once I clean my C: drive at the end of the year, everything is clean again. As such, my desktop isn't as horrible as it ussually gets... yet. I still need to make a few more half finished attempts to sort my desktop before it becomes truely horrible. I could post an image, but I don't think I want to show you guys.

I found the addon, but it seems to be working kind of wierd (opening multiple tabs at once, or multiple windows instead). It might be due the other addons I downloaded while looking (some of which were working wierd). I'll do some testing tomorrow, disabling and possibly uninstalling some of them in the process. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I have a question to ask myself about the tabs and middle mouse button. When Firefox first come out, I was put off by how the middle mouse button would open up a new tab when clicking on a link instead of allowing me to scroll. Its a real pain with some web sites where there are a lot of links, and I've been to some where a big image was a link itself requiring me to use the scroll bars to the side of the window to move around. As such I went back to IE 6. Now that IE 7 is out, it too h

As you already know, pirates can't conquor planets. Teching up until you can beat them is a valid strategy. Alternatively, you could try to clear out a sector of pirates so you make fleets. Its hard to makes fleets when pirates are hunting down any ships you make. Once you have a clear sector, you can then start building up your military there by forming fleets, and use the strength of the fleets to clear more of your sectors. This is the WORST glitch I've ever seen the Sins Devs do yet. So NOW, I have to fight the AI.
Is this supposed to be joke? Alright, I get it. So the AI will fight you, and punish you for not paying attention. I would do that myself if I was fighting you. This only means a bigger chanlenge for us solo
