I have been playing for a long time even after updating to beta 1.2 and everything was going great and no problems what's so ever, now for some reason the game decides to crash everytime I attack an enemy ship or fleet or a planet ?? why would this happen when the problem never existed before even after updating to beta 1.2 ??

All I know is never trust the Drengin, I was in friendly terms with them and since they haven't gone to war for a long time they suddenly turn on me. With drengin, I make sure I have a custom race with Xeno industry so that I can eventually go for the huge hulls, also with good defence and miniturization. Now, If you have other civs covering your ass from the Drengin, I boost up my economy until I'm making at least 150bc a week so that I can pay off some neighbors at the start until I get advanc

I think most of your issues you brought up on top can be fixed if you set the difficulty setting higher for the game. If you put anything from normal and down, the AI looks stupid compare to you especially if you know the game in and out and have been playing for a long time. Try it and you'll see, you won't regret it mate.

One or two armed ships??????? I once was playing a 7 way scenario and one of the minor races stole technologies from the Drengin. Mid way through the game I see a fleet from the minor race having the following stats; Laser = 129 missle = 50 mass driver = 2 They were pratically going to conquer us all and fortunately I won through diplomatic victory ...

Isn't kind of stupid, I allied with the remaining Torians, Arceans and the Drengins but the Drengins were still at war with the Torians. I would of prefered to win by diplomacy if I actually made peace between the Drengins and Torians. It seems to me more logical for everyone to be at peace in order to win by diplomacy at least much less everyone allies with everyone else???

Were suppose to be able to set the difficulty settings individually and once the game starts they should all be able to act like whatever settings we gaved them. Again, instead we should have the bottom difficulty setting locked in place or disabled preferably so that when we customize the individual ones we don't have to worry about the bottom one overiding the individual ones when the game starts?? The problem is that even if we don't touch the bottom one when were setting the individual ones

How do I know?? once the game starts I go to the foreign policy screen under miscelaneous for the individual races and their you find the intelligence of that race. Underneath intelligence, it tells you the level; normal, bright etc....... Now I'm assuming the AI is playing exactly it's own intelligence level whatever it is, but if it is, it's certainly not showing it in the foreign policy screen under miscelaneous and intelligence... So in any case... it's a bug. Because If I set the individual

well it must be a bug then cause like I said, when I don't touch the bottom one and set the other one's individually, guess what, THE BOTTOM ONE CHANGES TOO FOR THE MILLION'TH TIME !!!?? and when I start the game, I go to the foreign stats menu under miscelaneous and it shows that all the intelligence of every race is the same because the bottom one is overiding it??????????????????????????? Why don't you people try it instead of assuming it works?????? The bottom one is suppose to overide it bu

The main difficulty setting at the bottom always overides the individual ones no matter how high I set the main one?? I can never get different intelligence for the races when i start the game. It's either all "normal", all "bright" etc.... you get the picture. I tried every combo.. it's definetly a bug

Here is what I would definetely want in an expansion... This is what I was thinking about this whole espionage enhancement, espionage should result in 3 actions ; 1. Research Terrorism (evil empires only) = This enables your spies to gather enough info on a particular building on a particular planet so that your terrorists can blow it up. 2. Research Theft (neutral empires only) = This enables your spies to gath

I can never set a specific difficulty level fo each race since the main difficulty bar overides the individual ones. My question is this? why have the option to set the individual settings if it's not going to work?

To follow up a bit more to my wish list idea above; you have to get rid of influence starbases and influence ability in order for my idea to work. Since by destroying, stealing or destablizing you are already getting an advantage over your opponents. Also, you cannot set multiple targets with any of those new features. Basically, you choose the ship or building and once it has been delt with, you choose another target one by one. If your espionage ability is higher than the targets and at the sa

wish list: 1. Evil empires can research "terrorism" to sabotage or destroy buildings on target planets if your espionage level is high enough. 2. Neutral empires can research "theft" to steal ships if your espionage level is high enough. 3. Good empires can research "destablization" to cause or expose evil or neutral empires and cause them to revolt on target planets if your espionage level is high enough.
