Mighty Mongoose
(P.S Any people from the UK, most people appear to be from the USA) Yup, I hail from the South West of good ol' Blighty. Sins Halo 3 Mass Effect CnC3 Crackdown Spore(?) depends if its done well and if it will run. 2007 is a good year for me
Come on you had to see that coming
Either that or someone shook a Pepsi can waaay too much.
Maybe they contribute to research output, notice the artifact symbols also scattered through the tree, they appeared to be placed a bottleneck points of the tree and it indicates that you need to mine another resource/artifact to unlock it.
>Tiger not used to eating Mighty Mongooses, gets indigestion<
>Mongoose eats snake *gulp* Vista FTW!
No offense Stardock, but Sins > GalCiv2:DA >flicks through maths textbook
do I sense veiled contro-american anger here? no? Hell no, you guys have Hollywood, and the Grand Canyon, and Florida! Oh and also...huh?
Well its nice that they posted that write up to tide us over...they..>sniff sniff
That looks like the Kols main guns, which seem only forward mounted, maybe the ship was designed that way, to stop the Vasari and Advent getting too close?
Excellent write up, maybe we could look forward to some AAR's like you did when GC2 was in development (I maintain those were ace). Shame about the beta but some delicious new screenshots for us fanboys to digest will hold us over.
DAMMIT!!! do you just hang out here waiting for new people... god... Aww schem, be gracious in defeat You can't get there first every time.
The ships section has been removed...possibly to be updated, we don't know.
I've only ever seen asteroids, which don't really count as an anomaly, other than that I haven't seen any.
Yes I think population is a factor but I don't know about crews for starships, apparently capturing a ship isn't possible so I doubt personnel is a factor.
I've seen the game generate hurricane looking formations on some planets I sure hope global warming isn't gonna be an issue
Nope, each game is self contained and ends once the victor has been established. I'm also assuming the game can be paused and saved should any player need to leave. Here, this gives insight into multiple aspects of the game, including MP.
I can see it all now: "Hm, I'm doing ok, home system secure, all is well, I may actually win this" >mother gets in way with vacuum cleaner "Damn its annoying when she does that, hey, where'd my fleet go, those aren't my ships, where did they come from...DAMMIT!!"
Well Sins MP is not deathmatch as such, but its not co-op either. You don't start the game at war (unless you want to), you can trade, make alliances etc, or of course declare war. Basically there are more ways to win than just killing everyone else. But from the buzz on the forums, that seems to be what most people want to do.
Phew, and to think I was about to delete Audacity.
Lookin' forward to it.
Hmm, maybe its a tech for the pirats? I've just come over from the GC2 forums, coincidentally from a post about pirates in Dark Avatar, in DA they are way too powerful and can trounce even the most powerful empires, lets hope that doesn't happen in Sins (we don't want a Lucian Alliance do we Stargaters) although it would make for some cool battles.
