Hm, this is happening a lot, the pirates of DA can get way too overpowered, I hope it gets fixed in a patch at some point. I've always found the best strategy is kill them until dead, it works trust me. War against these guys can feel like wading through syrup at times, but they can't produce any more ships so keep at it. If you have any allies, get them to help out by giving you ships, if you don't have allies, get some. I was lucky, I had battleships at the time, and
Mighty Mongoose
Joe Bob Dork: "Huh, there is this thing I hate in the game. It completely unbalances the game, and by far, it's the one thing that's killing the game for me." Smart Player: "Um.. turn that feature off then. That's why there are a ton of choosable options in the game, to customize the game how you want it." Joe Bob Dork: "No, I can't do that. So this game sucks." Smart Players: "...." <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_
But then the Mega Events come along to wreck the strategy aspect entirely. They were designed to spice up the game, if you're new (lets face it, how could you not be) TURN THEM OFF, it's like when someone doesn't like a TV show, CHANGE THE DAMN CHANNEL, if you don't like mega events turn...them...off, why complain about something that can be remedied with a click of a mouse. If you had a headache would you run down to the doctors and complain or
Keep up the good work, we love it Indeed.
This may be a dumb question, but is that an iguana or chameleon (or neither) Some pics of what I hatched out today Hold the phone... you hatched them, ewww...kidding! You may enjoy this one as well , a spanish ad for R&C3
have to work 2 hours Same here ($50= £25). Workin' like a dog.
Like I said...purely speculative.
Cool...TEC civil war (or TECWAR lol) here I come!
Yeah, like the Pegasus in BSG, that was spectacular. Video
Knowing them they'll probably release it at 11:59pm on 28th of February. I'm happy to wait though, since I'm not getting the beta anyway but it does make sense that the beta should be ready, yes I know betas generally aren't supposed to be perfect but they must be in some semblance playable. At the end of the day it is up to Ironclad and to be honest it doesn't matter when you get it, as long a
Maybe with the TEC it'd be a swarm of small frigates against a couple of battleships.
I think the TEC cannot possibly do effective hits and runs, their ships simply are too weak to stand up to mind-infiltration or the super fast Vasari Good point, the TEC seem to be winning this battle though
Um...if you hate the game so much, why are you even a member of the boards? If you wanna complain take it to the Gamespot forum, this is for fans of the game who deliver only constructive criticism and don't have their minds already made up as you so obviously do.
I said that because they seem to have the broadest amount of options open to them, you want big fleet, you have big fleet, you want hit and run tactics, you do hit and run tactics, you want to build vast riches, you build vast riches. Many options open to the TEC aren't for the other two, the Advent probably favour using mental powers over all out assault(brain over brawn in the most literal sense), the Vasari cannot build a large fleet, so open warfare is most likely limited to be a la
ask yourself, does that really qualify as another tech tree? It could be different variants of the "Anti bad guy" machine, or it could be a long line of prerequisites from a giant one. All of this is pure speculation since Ironclad seem adamant on keeping this a secret. Who knows it could somehow be related to "the Sins of our past" mentioned in the trailer.
Bring it on, they have tanks but we have spaceships .
Just wandering off topic a bit, a like how in the screenshot planets closest to the star are molten while the habitable ones are an adequate distance out, mundane I know but you don't see it often. I really don't think that the Vasari's pursuers are a race Yes it could very well be an entity or some dark force etc. The fourth tech tree maybe some "anti bad guy machine".
A good combination of rock and classical, like Halo, would be good.
am pretty sure that they woulnd try to create an entirely new universe(with a backstory) to screw up on the campaign. I am equally sure that they wouldn't create a new universe then NOT advance the story in game.
I have found I have the skillz to post on both! Hehe, double agent!
Command and Conquer 3 forum I'll do it, I'm not bluffing! We're losing one!
To be honest, even though I will most likely play as the TEC, I will use the Vasari philosophy of sowing lies and dissent, as well as performing hit and run maneouvres. Also with the TEC they can use their vast economy as a weapon, and at the end of the day, if they don't like, they can file a complaint with my fleet. As far as the difficulty of each race goes I'd say: TEC: Beginner, a great race to start out the game with, they have a good economy and have most avenues open to
Do they still make Big Kings? If they don't I wouldn't know, haven't been to BK in ages.
Why is all the good stuff life threatening? I'm no fan of fast food, but there are times when you can't beat a Big King or Big Mac. Uh oh...the cravings are setting in, I'd better go put on a patch.
Burger King Quad Stacker You are a much braver (or hungrier) man than I. Did they at least give you a t-shirt "I almost vomited at Burger King and all I got was this lousy t-shirt...and a warning from my doctor". That said I did eat two steaks once...that was a good day.
