The only way that I think carriers would be good for would be for the look of it, you gotta admit that seeing several fighters coming out of a huge ship would look cool, but I really don't think they would be any use, they would either be nerfed or superpowered for them to have any use.
Azrune
I agree, I would much rather fight a powerfull enemy who's going to fight to the last.
Just watch those 700% bonus tiles carefully, it's a great way to destroy your economy if you don't keep the spending under control. Hell my economy was always great when I had 700% bonus tiles and was in the beginning.
my ideas for GalCiv3 Damn dude, the expansion isn't even out yet, don't bury a game that's not even a year old!
I'd love some mega events, it would be great seeing a dreadlord fleet coming out of nowhere about to anihalate my fleet.
BUG ALERT, GET THE SPRAY, SQUASH THAT LITTLE BASTARD!
Yep, they have done a few.
ok i have the new ship size tech showing the gigantic components but it still isn't show up on the hulls available The hull techs unlock new hulls not components.
Please do not make comments like this or the developers will nerf stock exchanges Yep, they will (i'm not kidding) nerf it down to giving only a 5% economy bonus... if were lucky enough to get that much.
Aw good another gameplay example, love a good read.
So how are you going to get the AI to focus on one massive fleet?
There's no tactical combat in GalCiv2 and there never will be.
I usually use industrialist, universalist, and technologists.
Can you have too many Econmic mines? Can you have too much money? No.
It seems funny that, for example, empire a surrenders to empire b, and empire b get's full control over that empire even if empire b has never even seen empire a, I think that would have to send troops and ships to the new planets to set up a government. So I think that you could prevent the surrendering empire from surrendering by barricading the empire from everyone else and then slowly take apart the dying empire and completly capture it.
Really? So we will be able to build bases on PQ 0 planets. As well as asteriod bases? I don't know, never heard about that.
Hey, I went "oohh shiney" and bought the box Yeah me to, i'm drawn to shiny objects
Sounds pretty good I always like a good read.
I like your idea! Would definatly make the game more realistic, since there will always be cultist fanatics with a death wish.
Again guys, same thing. I am going to respond all over this forum because I am getting sick and tired of trying to play this damn game with poor results from just about everything they've done. About the only thing that interest's me at this point is Kryo's Hull Mod. But what good is building ships when you can't use them, so to speak. Cmon dev's, do your job. You promised
I don't get what people complain about starbases not being tough, the defenses and weapons are only meant to hold off the occasional enemy ship or pirate that passes by, it's just insurance not a fortress (and no military starbases are not meant to be forts or troop barracks, only stat boosters) starbases are meant to be taken out quick.
Cool, the rebels deserve their time in the spotlight too.
Although I'm not looking forward to more "d00d where's teh MP/??!?!?! omg lame" posts. LOL, I like reading the posts those idiots write, crack me up. Also really looking forward to Dark Avatar, as always great work Stardock. <img src="http://ima
I hate that damn little message when you are going to get off the game, " a few more turns won't hurt"!
9.As the planet tiles fill up, that there be some sort of growth appearing like roads connecting the tiles and small buildings start to appear. Possibly reflecting your ethos lots of parks or industrial unit’s maybe militaristic style for imperial empires etc... Roads?! How in the world are you going to see the roads from orbit, unless the roads
