I found that messing with the topwindowframe height also messed up my quicklaunch & system tray icon sizes, don't know if this is what's causing your problem but I thought I would mention it. It happened to me when I was trying to make a very thin top windowframe, I mentioned in another discussion and some other people observed the same problem as well. Don't know why they're related but it might be something to check out at your end.

(I have patched my uxtheme) - i haven't heard of this before, is this necessary for the proper install of wb6, I installed it recently without any problems and I didn't have to patch "my uxtheme" to do it either.
