No I'll just leave the original owner admin account as is, she can still use it if necessary, she can login in as the 2nd account and begin customizing & using it (until she breaks it again). That's the catch, how does a user break the ability to download files in ie7? Regardless if you're using an admin account in windows vista, you would consider that an integral operation of internet explorer, breaking that function pretty much hampers your ability to do anything but browse the internet,

Creating a 2nd admin account and logging in as that account fixes ie7's problem. I can download files and save them without problems. The problem is with the original admin account and how ie7 is setup with that account. Is that the weirdest thing or what? Anyone have an idea as to why that would be? Very strange. Both are admin account with admin level privileges on this machine, yet one account can't download files using ie7 and the other can.
I'm definitely not going to reinstall vista for her, just to fix a problem with ie7 - one that could potentially reoccur quite easily. Checking out the microsoft tech net forums, alot of people have run into this problem - it's sad because I haven't seen anyone from Microsoft respond to anyone on those discussion forums to lend a hand in helping with this. She has Java installed on her machine, v6 I believe which should be ok. I will try another browser, if I can get avant or firefo
- I didn't mention it but browsing the internet works great on this machine, she also doesn't want to use any other type of browser other than ie7 - it's all she's comfortable with.
Hopefully I've posted this in the right section. I have a friend (seriously I do, actually a few more than that too) who has problems with her pc. She picked up a new hp pc from best buy several months ago. It runs Windows Vista Home Premium. The pc runs fine as far as I can tell, but she has one problem that I can't seem to help her with. Just recently past month or so, she isn't able to download any files while browsing the internet using IE7. It also interferes with her dow
Nice pic Zubaz, is this part of that wb you're working on?
Night Train your work is awesome, I always look forward to your new skin releases!!!
human ubuntu visual style sounds interesting, do you have a link for this skin? If so please share it!
as opposed to only 80 something WB skins GULP!!! only .... 80 .... something wb skins.... Boxxi Are you nuts?! Only 80 something?! Geez, that's incredible, 80+ wb skins Can you please work on a master wb skin, and then upload it to the site and sell it to us so that we can buy it. Trust me with that many downloads under your belt from wb skins, you have a few fans on this site! Your work is excellent, thank
There are 10 OB skinners? - I just checked after reading that and to date only 5 authors have submitted skins in the ob2 category, there are only 8 skins in total. I always wonder why ob2 never took off the way ob did?
4 out of 5 were easy for me, I regularly check alot of other skinners work, so many great skinners on this site that it's a benefit to see the different styles that everyone brings as a skinner. - The azkaban pic gave away the 1st answer relatively quickly, HOS is the Harry Potter skinner extraordinaire on this site. - the pic of the logon below is Boss's work, he is the "Boss of Logons", I can tell his style without blowing up the preview image. - I assumed that JJ Ying did the
Here's an idea to attract the ladies.. a Pinup calender featuring all the popular male skinners in their tighty whitey's free with purchase of WB - I thought the idea was to attract the ladies, not repulse them
technically this is an august wb skin but citrium's green has me hooked!
Curtis you have my respect and deepest sympathies - I'm sorry to hear what happened to your boy, no parent should ever have to see their kids get hurt. I'm sure your boy is tough as nails just like you, you guys can be strong for each other and help each other cope.
2007 there's no such thing as "over-protective." Curtis, I totally agree with you, there is no such thing as being over-protective. These days violence seems to be over the top, kids don't just get into fights, they try to kill each other. And there's no excuse for that 36 year old loser to beat up on your kid V, I hope the authorities act on this and I hope that bum serves some decent jail time for what he did to your boy. I saw that pic you prov
kitty, for what it's worth i really like your skins alot, so please keep at it, you'll rise through the ranks eventually. I don't think this discussion is going to assist you in that quest, just continue working on your original skins (your skins are some of most original I've ever seen), you already have IMHO master status in originality - nobody can touch you in that category. Don't ever quit your style which is definitely unique - stay with it, keep coming up with the new ideas and uploadin
Hope you have a great birthday in the great "down under"!!! So what's the weather like in Australia this time of year?
his stuff is pretty good - his last version of invi pro is very nice, I love black skins and the bright blue in certain areas is a nice contrast. I always wondered why he didn't upload his work on this site... now I know.
I've always said that success in life can be measured by all those people who are willing to consider you their friend, and give up their most valuable commodity [time] FOR you ....
I know exactly the kind of people you're talking about Jafo, I have friends just like that and I consider myself a fortunate person to have those people in my life. Awesome point there!
Yup, congrats to all the featured authors, another great week in skinning!!!
back breaking (actually knee breaking) work at the house... - "the flooring job that never ends", - followed by some baseboard work, - a few lighting fixture changes, - swap out some toggle switches and outlets and add a little painting for color You know you've been to Home Depot too many times when you know most of the staff on a first name basis, they know your kids & wife, the projects your working on, when you're moving in, etc. I'm tempted to get a pt job their
mmm ...'Baby in a bun' ....my favourite! Pass the kechup, please... Erk that's totally disgusting, I can't believe you would say something like that after looking at that pic... Everyone knows that mustard is the ideal choice for that kind of sandwich!
I'm just running the crap I'm currently working on. Ditto... Vienna2 V, I would never call the stuff you're working on "crap", it's too good, give yourself some credit. Any chance of a preview of v2?
Maybe he's waiting for sp1 before taking the plunge (or maybe he can't bear to part with his XP machine and he's waiting desperately for SP3?)
Blue Vista v3 on winxp, just an updated version of Blue Vista v2. I love running vista skins on xp (which I guess is kind of lazy because I could just as easily be running on my Vista ultimate machine and call it a day) It's simple & blue but contains alot of the updates from my Black Vista v3 plus some other improvements. For me it's pretty easy on the eyes, I might upload it one of these days.
